Hey all :yeah:,

I'm about to start this course in Media at uni in the UK but I don't know anyone there,

This youtube video sums up what I don't want to experience when I go..

Does anybody have first hand experiences and advice on being a uni student that they could pass down to me? I don't want to waste my time or money..

:)

Organize your work, get it done. (Related: Do your homework, often times it's a fair amount of your grade (10% makes a difference when you're otherwise being graded on 2-8 tests)
Show up to lectures. SHOW UP TO LECTURES.
Talk to your teachers AFTER class, or find their office hours.
Talk to your advisors about courses to avoid taking excessive unnecessary classes.
Do they do paid internships in the UK? Get one over the summer.
