Ok so there is this boy named derell and I am in love with him. But this is the first real boy crush I have ever had. And the problem is he's straight. We have had small talk but that's that any help please I cant even sleep

I would've said the exact same thing. You can't change a man's sexual orientation. You can be his friend and all but if he's straight than unfortunately that's the way it is going to be. But you should be open to others. Don't worry someday you will find another gay guy who loves you and you'll love back. :D

Hi Jakaras2, Firstly, i want to say sorry that you've fallen in love with a straight guy. It happens to the best of us. Last year, the same thing happened to me, although i never actually talked to him. When i was finally ready to try moving on, i just couldnt. I compared everyone to him, glanced at him in the hallways, fantasized, and even dreamed about him too much. You are probably thinking "I cant move on, im in love with him." But just try to realize that he is straight. Also, what helps is surrounding yourself with friends and family, yanno to get your mind off him. Try not to think about him or look at him. When you see him, dont look. Think to yourself, "I can do better". Believe it or not, doing this stuff will really help. I think i got (semi)over my crush within a week. When i say semi over, i mean to the point where i dont fantasize over him.

If someone is straight, it is extremely hard to change their preference. Just try to be friends with him and hopefully your friendship will evolve to a much stronger relationship.
