Agonizing Cut

So I cut my leg with my razor and accidentally went to deep. It's very painful and I was wondering what I should do to it in order to make the pain go away?

Ouch! (I'm assuming you washed your cut and bandaged it up properly?)

If you cut yourself near a joint, I think you need medical attention asap. Also, what did you cut yourself with? It might have been dirty enough to give you tetanus. So maybe ask for a tetanus shot as well to be on the safe side.

Otherwise just take it easy, take a painkiller and wait-out the pain. If the pain does not subside after a few days, it may be infected- so get medical help in that case as well.

Did you clean the cut out and cover it in some way? If its deep enough to warrant stitches then get yourself to a doctor or a hospital other than that keep it clean and covered maybe try some numbing cream on it or take pain killers and try and rest your leg to give it time to heal

You should really go to a doctor. Of course, "too deep" is subjective, so it may or may not actually need stitches, but the best you can do other than get medical attention, is to keep it clean and dry, and use butterfly closers. Oh, also painkillers help. May the force be with you.

As Alex said, you may need stitches, in which case the best thing to do is to go to a doctor. As for what to do now, make sure you keep it clean and that it's not infected, use steri-strips to help close it up the best you can, possibly put some antibiotic cream on it, etc. And, obviously, if you want the pain to go away, taking some sort of painkiller--whatever one you typically take, in the amount you typically take it in--would be the best plan of action at this point in time. I still advise you very much to see a doctor about it though, as it could be deep enough to need stitches. Also depending on what you cut it with, it could need medical attention as well.

Thanks everybody. It just really hurt bad last night but I was freaking out. I put some Vaseline Intensive Care Lotion on and it felt better. It's not as bad as I thought it was. But thanks anyways
