Smoking or SH?
Tried giving up SH but, evidently failed and I can't give up smoking - because I''ll cut more. I know that for a fact.
I'm stuck in a never ending cycle. One that I don't know how to break. Even my mum said to me a while back that she'd rather me smoke than cut myself. But I see it as cutting is less harmful than smoking....
I don't know I'm just at a completed loss as what to do.

instead of just quitting one, why not just do less of each? That way your not quitting flat out (it's hard, i'v tried) but your still not harming yourself as much as you would've been.
Hope this helps and good luck :)

GIVE UP BOTH
That would be nice if you could but I understand they are both addictions and are hard to give up. I think smoking is more detrimental to your health. I would try to give up smoking if I were you. :D

I'd give up cutting. It's much more harmful to your emotions, and damages you in more than one way. Both are awful habits, but in my opinion, cutting is more damaging to you. Not physically, but mentally.

I've tired cutting down on the cutting, but it just makes the relapse worse - which in turn, makes me hate myself more, and gets me more stressed which leaders tks me smoking more. And when I can't cut, I smoke instead to calm myself :/

Trust me I would LOVE to give up both, unfortunately circumstances and my will power aren't any good. But if I stop smoking , I'll cut more, and if I stop cutting I'll smoke more. I was going tks try that stoptober thing, but something happened and I realised I wouldn't be able to do it.

I'm already mentally messed up, don't think mordant cutting will do any more harm than its already caused...
All in all, why can't life just be simple? Or at least easier?

 Now I understand your question. You're not asking which to give up, your askign why you can't. Just hang in there and fight. Things will get easier. I promise. Stay Strong. ~holli
