In America Columbus is considered a evil terrible man who killed all the Indians. But anyways, enjoy your day.

He didn't really kill Indians. In fact, he didn't even find North America, he just found the Florida Keys and Caribbean. Most of the natives were forced into slavery and worked in the mines. It was only the people who resisted that were tortured (very slowly, mind you) and killed.
I think the reaction to Columbus now, in America, is very mixed. He was a very adventurous explorer but also a ruthless maniac. The majority of people here still think he landed IN America, when he was at least 200 miles away.

Yes I know he never discovered what we think of as America but Central America is still America. isn't it? But yes he was a ruthless man who killed people of the Caribbean and unfortunately is rewarded with his own holiday.
