Alright, as you could tell, last week I was very paranoid about keyloggers and my computer and such. This isn't really a question about that. So I use Safari the majority of the time, and it really bothers me, because when I push "Reset Safari" I'd expect everything to be reset. Yet when I Reset Safari, I go to the main website bar, I just type in "Face" and then it autofills the rest saying "Facebook" and its marked as "Top Hit". If I were to completely erase Safari from my computer every few months, will nothing be saved, and will it start fresh? So that it doesn't say anything like "Top Hit"? Also, on Google, when I reset Safari, I type in Facebook (or any other site in that matter) and it shows up in Purple letters, instead of blue. So people will be able to see that I've been on a certain site. How do I fix that? If I reset Safari (as in completely remove safari, go to Apple and then re download Safari) will the purple letters show up in Google?

1. Google tracks EVERYTHING you do, regardless of if you want it to or not. If you are concerned about someone logging everything you do, you are using the wrong tools.

2. All major browsers now have a private browsing option (I remember first seeing this in Opera, then Safari and IE had it as well, but now every browser has it just with different names). At least in good browsers (Opera, Safari and IE9+) this option WILL make EVERYTHING you do private: nothing is stored on your computer permanently. Even the download list will be cleared after you close the browser after a private session.

3. Of the options I mentioned, if you are on Windows, you want to go for Opera or IE9 / 10. Even to this day, the Windows version of Safari is not that good. Is considerably worse than the Mac version (only browser that consistently does that).

I don't know much about safari, but it should have some type of private browsing option. But as for your google problem, it'll track everything you search. If you go to google, click the settings wheel when you've searched something, go to web settings, sign in to google (if possible) and from there toucan delete what you've searched while logged in.

If you don't want to get tracked then use DuckDuckGo (http://www.duckduckgo.com). You can enable Private Browsing in Safari...really easy.

Autosaving isn't really keylogging. It's remembering your history based off what you went on(for instance if you most visited google as opposed to anything starting with a G it would fill in Google) you can clear your browsing history and cookies so that won't happen, but that's a bit too paranoid in my opinion.
