If you were the president of the United States for 1 term, what would you try to accomplish within that term? What would be your view on foreign policy, the debt crisis, education, and health care?

Foreign Policy: I am all for the international community. I would try to first talk to our rivals and try to set the record straight for a lasting peace (but still compete with them) and would try to set this country so it is not so backward like ratifying the Kyoto Protocol. Also, try to stay out of wars and instead use diplomacy. Basically the same ideal of pre WWII USA, just a slight more involved with the international community with peace.

Debt: We are in some serious debt. The first thing I would do is erase those tax cuts on the wealthy and take back control of the federal reserve to US so we can actually control our money and stop printing more. After that, set up enough regulation with the corporations and let loose enough of the small businesses so one can not take over another, making citizens relatively happy with fair labor with honest goods while decreasing our deficit by a great margin.

Education: Seriously, we are lacking in education. I would try to put a good focus on reforming how we do education. We need to teach kids what really happened in a lot of scenarios, especially the Civil and Cold Wars, and try to stop any means of narrow-mindedness in the nation's children which is sadly happening a lot.

Heath Care: Personally, I like Obamacare. Leave it as it is!

Foreign policy: I don't really have strong opinions, since I'm not American, but I think it's better to avoid wars and try to strengthen international relations.

Debt: The US has too much debt. It could be reduced by raising taxes until it can be payed back. Taxes should be raised for the rich and lowered for the middle class. Big corporations need more regulation, to make sure they don't exploit average citizens.

Education: The American education system is severely lacking. It needs more money to hire better teachers, as well as better curriculum. There needs to be greater separation between religion and education. The post secondary education system in the US is very good and doesn't need much change.

Healthcare: Obamacare should be repealed. It is a good idea, but terribly executed. The US need a publicly funded healthcare system, much like the one in Canada it the UK. It's appalling that in a developed country like the US, people still die because of a lack of money for healthcare.

there have already been a lot of threads like this one.

Foreign Policy:
I personally would keep strong ties with Israel in the Middle East, because they're our strongest tie in the middle east. If I were president during the embassy attack, I would send more military personal to help defend against the riots (which obama failed at, when he in fact knew the embassy needed more security he simply ignored it and now look what happened, 3 american lives were taken from a ruthless bunch of people). I would talk to that countries president and have him have more security and control over his countries people.

Debt:
To cut the debt, i would do an all around tax cut for both upper and middle class. I would stop the unnecessary regulations on businesses, and encourage them to hire. I would also stop giving tax cuts to companies that send jobs over seas, and I would even put an additional tax on them, like a 'foreign affairs' tax or something. I would reduce the military spending by about 11% (we spend 56% of our governments budget on military already, so i would just reduce it to 45%) with that additional money, I would add 5% of that saved money to education, and I would use that 6% to help pay off the debt little by little. For the first year I would do all that. The second year I would raise taxes slightly on both the upper and middle class, giving various tax cuts to both classes. I would keep the military spending to about 45% of our budget, and I would continue giving that 5% saved to education and 6% saved to help reduce the debt. All government employees (mayors, senators, congress, president [being myself], etc) would get 8% of there salary lowered (which wouldn't be that much, Hillary Clinton as of 2011, according to forbes, made $192,000 a year, if she got a 8% salary cut she would still be making about $177,000 a year) and half of that extra money would go into a federal emergency fund (incase of emergencies) and the other half would go toward paying off that debt. The salary cut for government employees would be in place within the first 4 months I'm in office (so within the first year, not second year). I would also legalize almost all drugs (Marijuana, ecstacy, mushrooms, morphine) and I would put a tax on those (8.5% tax) and I would make safe grow houses for the natural drugs, so that there are no potentially harmful ingredients in there (marijuana laced with heroin or anything like that). With that extra money from the taxed drugs, I would also put that to good use and put half of it in the federal emergency fund, and the other half would go to lowering the debt. To encourage new businesses, I would also have 2% of there taxes lowered for the first full year. By the 3rd and 4th year, taxes will return to normal for the middle and upper class, and instead of the 8% salary cut for government employees, I would raise it by 3% so that they are only having a 5% salary cut.

Education:
Because of those extra taxes and such explained in the previous section of Debt, the schools will have a little more money. Within the first year, I would try to transition all high schools to go digital, and have iPads for the students (of course who could pay to have them and pay for the insurance to cover them). I would also have teachers jobs based off of the quality of the teaching they do, instead of the years they work. I would set insentives for each school county, so that students can have something to work for (such as a new iPod, or a new skateboard or whatever). I would have each school rated by the test scores they get, so parents know what school is best. I would also have each student pay $50 a quarter to go to school, and if students cannot afford that, I would have schools provide an entrance exam, if they pass that entrance exam then they get a full scholarship for that semester. if they do not pass, the only way they can attend school is if they pay the fee. All students who are in extra curricular activities will get a 50% discount for each quarter, as long as they are participating in that extra curricular activity. I would also use 10% of the school budget to set a bunch of different scholarships for students, ranging from $500 scholarships to $3000 scholarships for college. I would hope by my 3rd year in office, each and every school would have gone digital with there education. The only reason why I would have students pay per quarter to go to school, is because I currently see far to many students who say 'man I dont wanna be here' and they end up being a waste of space in schools because they dont care about there grades, and so they just want to be a distraction to those students who do care about there future life in college and who do care about there grades. so that is why i would also supply a entrance exam every semester, so if those students want to be there, but cant afford it, theycan just take that. i personally believe education is a privelage, not a right.

Healthcare:
Honestly, I dont know to much about health care, because its not my forte. But I do know that portions of Obamacare is good, but 80% of it is bad. I would have stronger regulations on insurance companies, but in return, I would privatize insurance companies. The only people who would get 'free' health insurance are government employees.

What would I hope to accomplish within the first term:
i would hope that i could get our country to be more dependent on clean energy, rather than oil and gas. I would also hope to improve our education system, and encourage job growth and spending by cutting taxes for half of my term. I would also hope that the next president agreed with most of what i did lol :P and keep a lot of it going. I would want to help reduce the national debt by at least 30%-40%. I believe a good strong country/government is one that is strong economically, and militaristically. both kinda go hand in hand too.
