Hey everyone, where should I start? I've been feeling so lonely lately. And not just lonely like no ones around, but more like in the love way. I'm semi-out of the closet. Only 3 people know, my mom and two best friends. They were all fine with it so that doesn't bother me. I want to come completely out of the closet soon. Do you think that would help me find more gay guys? I mean, I already know two out-of-the-closet gay guys at my school but I'm not really friends with them. So do you think coming out of the closet would help me meet more gay guys? I mean either way, I want to come out.

Having seen the difference in people who are out and those who aren't it definitely seems guys that are out know a lot of gay people compared to guys that aren't, saying that I only know 1 out gay guy and met a few others briefly. So I reckon if you are out maybe some guys that aren't will approach you asking for advice maybe leading to friendships possibly more?

Only come out if it will benefit your life e.g being completely honest with friends, although don't expect it to drastically make your life perfect, there is homophobia so only do it when your ready to accept the consequences.

In my opinion it might be easier for you to meet people and have relationships if people are completely sure of your sexuality (avoid confusion and misunderstandings), but it depends what your personality is like with making friends and social stuff.
