Just wondering what your favourite camera brand is for DSLRs. Personally, I love Canons. However I do know of some people who like Nikon better. Also, if you have one, what is your favourite model of DLSR? Mine is the 60D from Canon.

I personally tend to go with Nikon, but I couldn't really tell you why.
The Canon's I've had have been bad quality and break easily.

I like Nikon, I don't mean to burst any bubbles, but a professional photographer (Okello Dunkley) told me Nikons are better. Something to do with how many pixels they shoot in.

I don't really choose based on brands, but the camera system itself.
At the time I was purchasing my first DSLR, Pentax was a brand that offered me what I needed and wanted. Since then, I've invested my time and money into the brand, so I'll probably be sticking around with it until a time comes when I may need a FF DSLR and Pentax doesn't have one to offer.

Pixels aren't actually a huge factor in the performance and image output of a camera- I've said this a million times and will say it a million more, but once you start taking photography seriously and advance, you will see that the camera you are using or the MP it has, doesn't really matter all that much.
It is most largely due to the skill of the photographer and the lens that they are using.

Well was something along those lines. Pretty much all I remember is the something about something I interpreted as pixels being laid on top of each other. I don't know if that makes sense probably not and its probably nothing close to what he said that is just what I got out of that part of the lesson. Either way it affected the outcome of the picture and I THINK what you can do with the raw file

I'd love to have a Nikon or Pentax, but I've grown up with Canon's and have no complaints with them.

Pentax, Canon and Kodak for me.
Just a personal fave.
They're my children and I keep a close eye on them. The ones I've got are very durable, dropped my kodak onto concreate. Picked it up and it worked perfectly, took no damage.

I'm a Nikonist. That doesn't mean that I have anything against Canon etc though, it's just what I started with. :P
