i've read the book and I didn't think it was anything special personally, me and my friends all read submarine and perks and I much preferred submarine to perks, I'll probably go see the film eventually as I've heard that it does live up to the book but as I didn't think the book was all that great that doesn't mean all that much to me.

My girlfriend at the time two years ago asked me to read it, and it was okaaaay. Nothing special in my opinion.

I read the book years ago, and I saw the movie a few days ago. It can trigger you though, if you've suffered child sexual abuse. They keep it tasteful but still.

I have wanted to read the book for a while, and now the movie is out, I want to see that, but not before I read the book first! But I'd prefer the book without the fuss of the movie taking up the covers. :\

The movie isn't as good as the book, but it's still great! I got a bit sick of Emma Watson's accent though T.T
