View Full Version : Youtube videos won't load with Chrome/Safari

...and from what I've read, chrome already has flash player and java built in. I've already checked my firewall and Chrome's plugin settings. I've also re-installed Chrome to try and sort out this problem, but although it can open the actual website, none of the videos will actually load and play.
Do any of you know what I should do? Thanks so much in advance :)

Just from my personal experiences I use safari and I had to download flash player and after that it all worked fine :)

Exactly. That's why I'm wondering what is causing this annoying malfunction.

I tried this yesterday, but unfortunately didn't help at all :(

May I recommend you just temporarily try using Opera (download it from the Mac App Store) or Firefox, and see if that works.
If that works, you have a problem with Chrome.
If it doesn't, try installing flash and java separately.

Thanks for your help, but I reset the modem and all is well now. Not sure what went wrong exactly, but I was also unable to download flash using all those browsers. But thanks again for your time anyways :)
