Just stop shaving till it gets the length you want, then either use the beard trimmer on your electric shaver or buy a specific beard trimmer to get it to the shape and style you want.

You can't just magically grow a beard. You have to stop shaving and then wait. The process generally does take a lot of time or can be very short depending on how fast your body grows hair.

The process is different to everyone.

do you have to shave everyday? or at least every other day?
if not, you're not ready to grow a beard.
can't have bald spots on your face either.

You cant just grow a beard. Puberty doesn't work like that. Unless you have to shave your entire face every day, you aren't going to grow a beard. I can grow a full goatee in about 5 days, and have to shave every day, but I still can't grow a beard. You will have to wait a few years buddy. And seriously calm the hell down, you don't NEED a beard.

Well other people have said this to you, but if you already are at the point in puberty where you have to shave, then leave it alone and the beard should come. I remember seeing one of your posts before, I think you said you were 14 or 15, well if you are that age you most likely won't be able to grow a beard, i'm just now starting to get one and i'm 14 ( i'll be 15 in 3 months ) . I think the only way to get facial hair to come in quicker is to consult your doctor about testosterone boosts, but that would be stupid. Just let puberty do it's job, most people don't get a beard until they are about 16 or 17, some even later than that. Don't worry about it dude, just give puberty some time and you'll grow a beard eventually, things happen to people at different times during puberty, we are all different. I don't really know what all the hype is about growing a beard though, all that hair becomes itchy, and shaving is a pain in the ass :P

You can't just magically grow a beard over night. It takes time. If all your facial hair has come in, then all you have to do is just not shave and let it grow out.

However, if you are 14-15 (which I think you are, correct?), that won't be the solution for you. As annoying as it may be, you'll probably have to wait several years before you are able to grow a full beard. I am 19 years old and I am able to grow a full beard, but I am assuming it's that way because of my genes. Both my brother and dad were able to grow full beards by the time they were 18 years old. Anyways, I am 19 and some of my friends still can't grow beards. Some can and some can't. It just depends on your genes. Hell, some guys who are as old as 21 still can't. Actually, some guys can't ever grow full, full beards, as their facial hair only grows in patches or they just can't grow enough.

I can understand you wanting to have a beard. Personally, I love it. I have shaving, but I love the feel of a beard. I actually prefer the feel of stubble much better, but I do like it. Like I said, shaving is a pain, but I do enjoy having a beard. So I can understand. But you just need to wait. Puberty doesn't happen all at once.
