I thought it'd be fun to rewrite nursery rhymes with much darker content. So I did :p I liked the idea of the form belieing the content of the rhymes so they sous extra eerie and dark :p works even better if the rhyme has a tune. Anyway here are some of mine:
Mary, Mary
Quite contrary,
How does the red blood flow?
From poisoned veins
With crack cocaine
And little cuts all in a row
Ring a ring a roses
Her intent she now discloses
She'll shoot them, she'll shoot them
And they'll all fall down
Watch them in their suffering
Watch them in their pain
She never did find happiness
But at least she found some fame.
So yeah, comment on mine or post your own :p
Don't ask why I started doing this, it just happened xD
Oh and I have more if people want to hear, I just don't like them that much :p

I love the idea of this! Roald Dahl did this occasionally when he was writing, he'd take an old fashioned fairy tale and make it gruesome and dark. With yours, I especially liked the first one, I felt like it flowed very well, with the same rhythm as the original nursery rhyme. The second one, while the words were well done, I felt didn't flow as well as it might have been able to. They're still great though, I look forward to reading more from people! :P

Tehe thank you! Yeah I know the second doesn't work quite as well, it's actually quite difficult too do, and i'm inpatient so tend not to spend as much time as I could on them ;) But thank you :p

Pussycat, pussycat, where did you go?
To make more tracks, in more little rows.
Pussycat, pussycat, what did you do?
Poisoned my self to forget about you.
Yeah, it's not great but I came up with it in like three minutes.

Poison, Poison, Will you Kill?
master, master, anyone will do!
even the cat, or the dog,
lets not forget the lil' old bunny.
Jack and Jill went up the hill to fetch a pail of water,
Jack fell down and took some crack,
And Jill came snortin' right after.
Up got Jack, and dead did drop ,
As fast as a pepple could stop.
He went to hell and bound heart,
for he was gone all together.

Rock a bye baby, it's not just in your head,
The thoughts: you're unloved, all hope is now dead,
When they take off that plastic wristband,
You'll see the blood cover that frail, sickly hand.

(Row row row your boat)
Go go, choke its throat
Quickly, no one can see
Ghastly, ghastly, ghastly, ghastly
Death is not as it seems

A lot of fairytales came from Germany and the original German text was very dark. Americans made them less so. Don't mean to sound like a no it all..I learned that in German 1 last semester. I really like what you've done here though, along with the other people's work. Y'all should look up Der Erlkonig, or at least the translation. Here's some nursery rhymes I re-wrote:
Mary: haunted by a demon's lamb,
Its fleece was black as coal.
And every times that Mary wept,
The lamb possessed her soul.
Trickle, trickle, little star,
Drops of blood from a scar.
The soul is plundered, plagued with hunger,
Pain so piercing, sharp as thunder.
Cutting, cutting, little star,
Cutting so deep, it forms a new scar.

The young girl refused to eat,
The young girl just stared at the meat.
Hospital beds, IVs in her veins
Never got her to a good weight again.
