So as you can see I'm pretty new here but this forum seems good and might help me. (English is not my first language so sorry for any mistakes ;) )

I'm 18 and have never really been in a serious relationship. I didn't really care about it before but now it seems like I have to catch up ;)

To make a long story short, tomorrow I'm seeing a girl that is interested in me . It will be a double-date with one of my best friends and his girlfriend (which is a friend of my-girl). I've met this girl already but it was before I knew she was interested and I had a different girl on my mind so didn't really think of her in that way.

My problem is that every time I know that a girl is interested in me I talk less and I guess I seem less confident. I don't know what to say, when to make a move and everything. Also what am I supposed to say to a girl I haven't really gotten to know? most people i ask say random stuff but at the time of the date I find it hard to find a topic  always felt kinda weird about it :\

ughh as you see I don't have an actual question.. I guess I'm a little nervous about this as I really want this to work out.. was hoping you might have something to say that could help :)

From what the looks of it, the reason being is that you are trying to be a guy whom you aren't. If your not serious in relationships, then don't try to act like one! Just be you, and take baby steps into knowing what a serious relationship will be like! The girl will know that you may not be ready for some stuff, and don't worry about that, because then they would understand, and actually may help you out with relationships! When your in a relationship, it means two people comes to one! So that means you two will help each other out! So just be your normal self, and be confident, but not too confident. ANd let everything flow naturally! You'll know when the right time to make a move and stuff!
