What do you look for?

What do you look for in a person for them to become your girlfriend/boyfriend?
Just wondering because if it's contrary to popular belief then I might actually have a chance.

I look to their personalities and to how they act. If they're kind, caring, supportive, etc. I look to see if I enjoy being around them as well. Looks play some role for me, but only to an extent. If they look good but their personality is shit or they're a dick or something, then they can be as good looking as they want, but they've lost all attention from me. Usually, I also look to gauge whether or not we would be compatible as a couple. I'm fairly systematic about it, I don't just rush into a relationship based merely on looks and such. I would say that personality matters the most to me--not how a person looks, but how they act. I wish you the best, hun, and I'm sure you'll find someone out there for you :)

While most guys look for looks for the girls, I first look for their personality! Personality is the main point of a good relationship! You want a person who matches your type of personality, understands it, and doesn't mind staying with that personality! So for me, I want a girl who is funny, smart, kind, respectful, calm, ect. And once I find the person, their looks usually come in afterwards. So yeah, she'll be beautiful to me! She doesn't have to be beautiful to anyone else, because all she needs to be is beautiful to me through my eyes!

Personality is really important but to be fair a girl has to be eye catching for you to get to know them, main thing for personality is good sense of humour, speaks they're mind, and I love a girl that comes across a bit shy when you first meet them it's really cute. Then for looks its nice teeth, nice eyes and a good shape I hate girls when they are to skinny or fat
