I'm not a girl but girls always have mood swings and are sometimes in pain with stomache cramps ect. It's not a very pleasent time.

I agree with mychemical romance not the best time of the month. Some people get really moody but with others you cant tell. I no i get really moody just like my mum and we get ours at the same time so we clash alot. And i no a guy who recons he has period pains and it just want to hit him because there is really no pain like it.

I know it's hard, but try your best not to bring up the things she says when she's PMSing- trust me, if you had to go through what she does, you'd probably be pretty nasty as well.
And y,eah it's always awkward for guys to see tampons, etc. Just don't make a big deal about it, if anything tell her you know it's no big deal so she'll feel less embarrassed.

Having a tampon fall out of her purse wasn't as bad as when this kid in my school was talking to me at lunch and a teacher walked by, and just as the teacher walked by a condom fell out of his pocket (this was in 6th grade), but anyways, yeah, as all of them have said, it depends on the girl, but most girls have mood swings, and you don't want to piss them off around their period. If you just don't bother her things should be ok, but being open seems like a good idea. Just tell her you're there for her if she needs a shoulder to lean on, because girls can feel really crappy during their periods.

Wow, I was never reallt affected by that kind of thing .., but your girlfriend is probably just feeling really run down, crampy, and is more likely to get annoyed by little things, so you should just try to be more caring and understanding, maybe hug her and be a bit more, that kinda thing. :)
