Human

What do you think about it? I think it's fine and I think that this kind of research is necessary for humankind.

Above is the 'embryo' they take the stem cells from. People say this can be completely counted as a human.

There is a huge amount of knowledge to be gained with stem cell research and it could be used to treat many different diseases. The embryo, while it contains human DNA, isn't a human being. It isn't sentient. I don't really understand the ethical controversy around stem cell research. I think it will be very useful in the future.

Stem cell research is key to finding cures for diseases. People need to realize that a stem cell does not have any form of consciousness. It's a cell, it's not a human, and it's not sentient. I'm in favor of scientists continuing research involving stem cells.

I'm in favor of stem cell research. I don't see how that pic is a human. EDIT: It's an embryo, with cells, but NOT a human

@ Phenomenon and Jess
The picture isn't a cell, but an embryo made of a few cells. It looks like it is a few days after fertilization. It probably contains around 10-20 cells. Not that that makes it any more of a human being.

I knew what it was, thanks. However there are cells inside the embryo. Thus stem cells.
Neither the embryo or cells are conscious.
