Best Friend

Just wondering, how many of you guys have best friends? I haven't had a best friend since I was a elementary school kid then we moved to another state. Been to 4 schools in 6 years of living here and don't really have many friends still, let alone a best friend. Yeah it sucks, I have nobody to talk to about personal things/just be there for me, or just be buds with. So, anybody in the same position or used to be in a similiar position? If so, tell me about it or how how you overcame these loner problems, if the latter. :P

I have two people I would consider to be best friends. They're people who have been there with me through a lot and who know me better than about anyone else. I've had so many "best friends" in my life though, and so many of them have abandoned me. It's hard in those times to be alone, I know it is. But, you need to put yourself out there, be friendly, and just be yourself. Talk to people, and see where things lead. I can just about guarantee that if you do that--and don't worry or obsess over it--that you'll end up finding plenty of good friends, maybe even some best friends. I have a couple best friends, but sadly each goes to a different school! But then I have friends at school, but no one to where I would talk about my personal life and get real personal, at least not right now.

hmmm... best friends. so due to the fact that i have lived in so many countries i have best friends all around the world, in finland, south korea, australia, brazil, canda, US, south africa. and i keep in contact with them on a regular basis.

As of right now I don't have any best friends. I have friends, but I'm not very close to any of them. Me and my best friend kind of had a fallout in sixth grade and I just haven't gotten close enough to anybody to consider them a best friend.

I've never realy had a best friend until this year. Now I have someone I consider to be closer to me than anyone else in real life and another online, since circumstances are different I count them both separately. I say just try and make friends, become sociable, ask people to go places and from that you might find someone you are able to call a better friend than the rest. Sure, I used to be exactly like you say you are. I still pretty much am, it's only 2 people that actually get me out the house. Just push yourself to go out and be friendly, interact with people in your classes or maybe join a youth club, you should find someone likeable people there?

I have 3 best friends. One girl that no longer lives here, and we don't talk much, but we both know we'll always be sisters at heart, no matter the circumstances. Second is someone I've only really known for 2 years, though I knew her in elementary school. And the third, I would consider my boyfriend my best friend.

i had the same problem it was hard but i just went up to a guy that was nice and said hey, later i found out that he was looking for a friend too now we are good friends, just be your self and force your self to say hi it worked with me.

I have one best friend that I don't think I'll ever lose. I'm glad to say that it's that way. We've always got each other's backs. We can do whatever the fuck we want around each other.

Aside from him, I have 7 friends that I would also consider my best friends. Some are better friends, some aren't; but they're all there for me when I need them.
