Im curious... Mine well they are I think 2 months old to 3 and they are very visible especially if Im cold they turn redish purple. I know other ex cutters in my school and you cant even see their scars but I dont know how deep they would cut...

I still have one on my left forearm from about 4 months ago that is still very visible, and one from a few years ago on my right arm that you can still see. So yeah, unfortunately for me it takes a long time for my scars to fade away.

I mainly stopped on my arm from early this year, they're still fairly visible and two are still very raised but they're fading as we speak so. My thighs well apart from the top I mainly stopped over a year almost two years ago my time scale might be wrong I can't remember and yeah if you look you can see millions of white and red lines across but compared to what they once were they're almost invisible at one point you could see then through thick opaque tights now you can't see then through thin tights.

As for comparing your scars whilst it does depend somewhat on the depth some people also scar very easily. Personally I don't scar very easily at all so I suppose i'm lucky. It also depends on location according to my doctor and case worker your legs scar easier than your arms something about the skin idk. So yeah I wouldn't start comparing scars cause that's just flawed and won't help your mentality.

Mine from about 10 months ago on my calves and arms have almost completely faded. The ones from the past 4 or so months on my thighs are still protruded and white/pink, though.
I guess it sucks that they start fading so quickly, I find my scars beautiful.

There's two on my wrist which are some what noticeable but only my brother has asked me and I just said it was his at scratching me. Most of em are on my leg. You can't see those ones. :D

For the most part, mine are fairly faded--there's some slight discoloration in my skin where they are on my arm, but not a whole lot.

Some of mine fade completely, but others are still as noticeable as neon signs - I have one on my leg from March that makes people jump, it's so bad.

Mine are from about two months ago.. The ones on my hand from when I first started with scratching with plastic (really painful.. Never again will I do it.) are the most visible for some reason, even though they're the oldest. My newest ones on my wrist area from when I stopped are pretty visible and always noticed. They weren't that deep, but pretty bad. The ones on my thighs you can barely see. The ones on my upper outer arm are pretty visible, and the ones on my upper inner arm are barely visible. So I get questioned a lot.

I seem to scar really easily. I have very vague scars from over 2 years ago on my arm. You can't see them without looking for them, but they're there. They're my oldest scars.

Then my fore arm... They're quite pale I suppose, but because there's hundreds of them that makes them quite obvious. They range from 2 years old to 2 months old, but most are probably over a year old since I haven't cut there much in the last year.

My thighs have lots of white, thick and raised scars all over the tops of them :/ They're immediately visible unless I cover them up. It doesn't help that I have two that are still purple from about 4 or 5 months ago on there, but they're fading to white. Most of those are faded as much as they will do I think, which is depressing.

I think that's it.

I have 15ish on my lower thigh on both legs that are pretty much completely faded; have to really look hard to see. No one ever notices them.

I have some on my left arm/wrist that are really really light, enough that you gotta look hard to see. My right arm/wrist has recent fresh ones, visible scars, and faint ones (all on both sides of my arm).

I really wouldnt and wouldnt want to compare... I was talking to my friend and the other person sitting there saw my wrist and asked me about it and yeah It kinda lead to us talking about it.

The oldest ones you can see are probably from this time last year, at the latest. There's still some very faint lines from older ones, but you would only notice if you knew they were there. All of those are on my sides, they don't scar too bad. My legs seem to scar pretty bad, I have a lot of scars just from falling and stuff like that as a kid, so these will probably need some kind of cream to make them fade, and even then, they'll still be visible for a while.

Like half of mine are very visible... they're pink and puffy. the others are white and kinda shiny. you can only see them if you look closely.

I scar so easily so my arms are covered in white lines and extremely red and blotchy (scratching and burning), my stomachs probably the worst though. It's like ribbons all the way down and has been for about a year now.

I got some white lines on my right arm, but most of them just fade away in 3 months.

There's a number of them on my thigh that are very noticable, but they seem to be fading very slowly. Some of them were made half a year ago or longer, so they're definitely taking their time fading! Some of my newer cuts scarred an ugly pale brownish color and I hope those will fade...

There's one on my stomach thats pink and raised and very noticable. I don't mind it, but I'm not sure if it'll ever fade.

The ones on my arm are so thin that no one would notice them. But my leg ones are (or would be) very visible if any one saw.

I have a few on both my arms and like 2 on my stomach which are all from around 6-8 months ago. They're kinda noticeable, only if you stare at my arms though.
