i was just wondering what evryone else thought about having sex. tv shows and movies make it look easy but in reality its pretty complicated (in my eyes). i just want to know if anyoneone had viewed sex as sacred or special. personally i think sex sjould be with someone you feeel right with :wub: while kids at school get laid because they scored a touchdown.

Yeah I think it's pretty special. I mean, it's a close as you can physically get to a person. YOU ARE LITERALLY INSIDE HER (or him). You can't get closer than that. I just can't get that close with anyone. Not to mention the emotional baggage and personal responsibility that comes along with it.

I feel the same way as you.
I'm not some crazy religious sexual beliefs type.......hell, I don't even go to church!! I just believe that sex is something you should save for someone you really care about.
I don't really believe in waiting till marriage for sex, I just don't think it should be wasted on some one night stand!

Personally I frown apon kids at school that brag about getting laid. I think it's really special and must be with the right person before or after marriage.

I feel it's something special and should only be done with someone you truely love. You need to at least have a drivers license as far as age goes.

I don't think people should be going around sleeping with whoever they want simply to be having sex, but I don't necessarily agree that you should only have sex with someone who you truly love. Sometimes sex is, well, just sex. I don't think it ALWAYS has to be with someone you truly care about. But again, I don't think people should just be sleeping with whoever simply to be doing it.

Would I have sex with someone I don't truly care about? Nope. That's just my personal choice, but I don't think there is anything wrong with having sex with someone who you don't necessarily love.

However, I don't think people should be having sex at such a young age. Sex is a very emotional thing for a lot of people and honestly, it does annoy me just a tad that movies and television pretty much glorify it and act like it's not a big deal. While it may not be to some, it is a huge deal for a lot people. Having sex comes with a lot of emotions and a lot of baggage and I don't think people should be having sex at such a young age. Most of my friends lost their virginity at 16-18, which is fine and all, but personally, I think it's best to wait.

I completely agree. I find it extremely odd that kids have sex at young ages. A person must be extremely ready for all the mental trauma that they will encounter. However, if you think your ready do it; I think its weird. But it really doesn't matter what I think, it is what you know, and what you think is best.
