Please, this is NOT A POLL OVER WHO YOU WANT TO BE PRESIDENT, this is simply a poll of who you believe won the Presidential debate that concluded ten minutes ago.
Personally I'm slightly favoring Obama in the election, however I believe Romney won this debate. He was very well spoken and specific, and had good attacks on Obama. However, he was quite rude towards moderator Jim Lehrer, which made him look bad.

Mitt Romney. Obama was starting to look pretty frustrated and nervous, which I personally think showed some weakness. I don't like either of the presidents, but I personally think Romney won the debate.

In my home town
I didn't watch it, but my cousin went to the debate and texted me he thinks Mitt won. Plus my mother watched it and said Mitt did better. I hope this is the case.:D

I say it was even. Obama stumbled over his words a bit, but all in all they had good statements and such. And Romney was a dick to that moderator. But Obama really should win this election.

In my opinion, I believe Mitt won the debate. I didn't like how he treated the moderator, but I believe that he did pretty well getting his points across.
It seemed President Obama had a tough time getting his words out, and he kept going on about Mitt and what he wanted to do and why it was wrong.
Now, who I want to win the election, I'm not sure.

Definitely Mitt. If anything, people should have seen this coming because of his performances at the primary debates months ago. President Obama stumbled over himself many times, something he usually does, and was so long winded that he went over the two minute limit multiple times. I don't want to hear a President act like a college professor in a room of kindergartners.
Now if Romney was a bit more aggressive, I would have no problem throwing my support behind him. I think if Romney wants to win, he needs to be more specific about his plans (which he has yet to do) and start asserting himself (think back to the Florida debate with Newt Gingrich and some of the December debates with Rick Perry) more often, he can get the 10 or 11 percent he needs. There's still two more presidential debates, so anything can happen between now and then.

I read a short synopsis, and Romney seems as batshit insane as he's always been.
CUT TAX AND SPEND MORE TO REDUCE DEFICIT.
The recession is why middle class income has gone down, Romney.
You are crazy, you blithering Mormon idiot.
EDIT: Maybe the reason Obama was stumbling over his words was because Romney was saying absolutely ridiculous.

Obama might not have been prepared. Mitt seemed to be doing great from confidence. Propably he was cocky therefore attacked the moderator. Idk just some random thoughts on this.

First off, attacking his religion is just wrong, by calling him a "mormon idiot" because that implies him being mormon has something to do with his idiocy (from what you believe). So dont attack his religion.
Alright, reading it is another thing compared to watching it. Multiple times he told Obama that he will reduce taxes enough to help people, and that he was going to cut loopholes for the wealthy. He also said that he will not be spending more. Obama has been the one spending more, Romneys plan is a smaller government while Obama wants a bigger government. All you did was read a summary of the whole thing, which probably was a few paragraphs out of the whole hour long debate.
But back to the question.
Romney definitely exerted more confidence in his speech. Is it enough to win over some of the democrats and Obama supporters? Maybe. I definitely believe that Debate helped clear up many misconceptions that were out there, and it helped clear up some false accusations Obama has made. I did notice that the PBS narrator guy was more unfair toward Romney, because he would try to have Obama have the first and last word (which isn't how it works, and Romney even said "Well President Obama got the first word, So I get the last". Just minor things though, at least Romney did get the last word on the subjects he wanted to haha :D
I definitely hope that debate persuaded people to look at Romneys plan a little more, and maybe even vote for him. Either way, Obama (kinda) wins. He he wins office, he gets to finish what he started. If he doesn't he will go down in history as the first black president, he also gained a lot of money from the presidency, and in the future he can be a guest speaker at big events for tons of money. So financially, he won lol
Romney also had a few funny moments with Obama, and Obama the same with Romney. Like when Romney said "I have 5 kids, so I know that the truth doens't always exist" or something like that haha
However, he was quite rude towards moderator Jim Lehrer, which made him look bad.
I definitely see how it could be seen as rudeness. But I also believe that Jim Lehrer was unfair at a few moments toward Romney (which romney even pointed out), Like how president Obama got the first word, and mitt was trying to get the last. But Lehrer kept interrupting him. Lehrer I noticed tried to help obama out, a tad, by giving him a little more time to speak, as well as trying to get Romney to speak a little less. What should have been done, is obama should have gotten the first, and then romney shouldve gotten the last. But Lehrer (as said above) tried to have obama get the last. But then Romney just started talking about what he wanted to say even tho lehrer was intereupting him. (that was really confusing for me to type, so sorry if it looks weird :D)
Lehrer was probably feeling bad for Obama, so he wanted him to get the last and first word on a few of the topics.

Magical. Stop talking. You'll hurt yourself.
If you would have payed attention to what Romney said you would understand that he wants to reduce taxes AND spending AND the deficit. He also went into detail on how he plans to do that. If you care enough, go find his full plans and learn for yourself.
The recession has put the middle class in a bad place, but who has made it worse? Our dear president. The middle class is being squeezed and hurt and Obama's policies have not and will not help. If anything they are destroying the middle class and the upper classes are Obama's next targets. Romney has a plan to help the middle class as well as all other Americans. He wants to make it so no one has to be dependant on the government. You want to know more, go find it.
Romney doesn't have specifics? No he doesn't. But as a candidate, you shouldn't go into an election with specifics. Like Romney said, you can't go in as president and say it's my way or the highway. Romney has a plan and if elected will go and meet with congress and legislatures and work with them to find the best way to help America. If he has too much specifics, he doesn't have much room to work with others. He wants to find the best fitting way to fix our nation's problems.
And don't base your opinions on someone because of their religion. Calling someone a blithering Mormon idiot makes you look stupid and immature. Get the facts and be reasonable.

Romney took a big steaming shit right on obama.
Seriously though, he killed it. Made some great points, cleared up a lot of media-exaggerated bullshit, and made a solid point as to where his economical stand point was. And of course the subtle jokes that obama seemed to not have enough brain to pick up on. Good going romney, you deserve a pat on the back. :yeah:

As much as it pains me to say this, Romney did much better. He was much more aggressive and Obama was on the defensive most of the debate. Obama seemed to stumble and hesitate more and his points weren't made as clearly.

I know many people do, but look at Bain Capital, he made most of his profit from that, and it didn't turn mormon.

As far as the debate goes, Romney won. Part of this was because he went into it with everyone having low expectations from him in the debate, and he went above and beyond those expectations, surprising everyone. When I saw Obama in the debate, in all honesty he looked tired and sounded worn out. Which he probably is. It drives home the point that Mitt Romney is actively campaigning and has all the time in the world to do that and to prepare for the debates. Obama? He's president all day, and he works all day. He then has to campaign on the side, and prepare in what time he has left. I think that showed through, but that could be to his advantage were people to realize that. I believe Obama will win the election and that he still has the upper hand--today it was reported that the unemployment rate is at the lowest it's been since Obama took office (and subsequently lower than when Bush left office.) But Romney made his points very well in this debate, even if he did step all over the moderator. I'm curious to see how the next goes, however.

Mitt Romney. He trampled all over Obamas policies and you could tell Obama was getting frustrated because he kept going ovet his time.

Romney was obviously more prepared but I couldn't hear anything over his bullshit tax plans and his annoying repetitive "board decides what treatments people have" claim.
Holy fuck, Obama, come on. You've been doing well in the polls. Don't blow it. Romney really gets me hacked off.

Romney looked like the alpha male up there. He looked confident and strong. Obama looked passive and weak. Romney was more prepared to answer Obama's attacks then the other way around. To be honest, Obama looked like he didn't want to be there.

Anyone who wants Obama to be president another 4 years needs to really check the facts. He's killing our country, whether intentionally or not. Almost everything he does puts us deeper into an already tremendous debt. Don't let him make it any worse. Romney may not be perfect, but he's alot less harmful than Obama.

Romney won. Obama ran out of lies. Romney convinced the general concensus.
Would I vote wither one? absolutely not, (both are bad for the U.S, for different) but Romney won the debate, (at least in Colorado, IDK about where I live)
