So there is this guy..
That works at the horse barn I go to. We have known eachother for a bit longer than a year now, and I have liked him for quite some time. So I was wondering.. what are some of your ways to tell whether or not a guy\girl likes you.. Here are some reasons why I think he may like me back:
-He has asked to crack my fingers and then he held my hand.
-He acts crazy and loud most of the time to get my attention.
-He looks straight into my eyes.
-Sometimes he'll be rude and ignore me, or tease me.
I'm probably over thinking it, but what do you think

sounds like he likes you - just flirt with him and see if he flirts back ... If he does take it up a notch.

Seems like there is a hint there but to be sure you must compare it on how he treats other girls.
If he treats you the same as the other girls, then he is just nice
If he gives you more attention than the others, then it's a hint
If he has a sister, younger or older, you should also compare cause there is always a chance he is just treating you like a sister. If all points to him giving you more attention, then maybe you should also hint him that you are open to his advances, unless you are that type of girl to simply ask plainly and straight to the point.

Thanks for the tips! What do you think it means if a guy ignores a girl sometimes when he's with other people.. he's different with me when we're alone.

or he's just not ready for other people to know that he's into you

Yeah well, to properly assess relationship potential one must consider background and recent events. Also personality and appearance. There is a lot of factors actually to properly assess a situation.

When I say different when we're alone, I mean that he's more energetic and funny, and he listens to the things I have to say. Yet when we are with a group of people, he's more serious, and he doesn't pay as much attention.

That's normally an indicator of interest. Does he stay close to you while with others but keeps his attention to the others? Does he give glances towards you during this times. Who are in the group? Is it family or friends? If friends, are they regular friends, business friends or long-time-no-see friends? If it is family, he is he close to family, normal or not?
Basically you have to consider his relationship with the others. The closer they are together the more attention he'll give them.

This very first question is something he always does! The people that we are usually with are (to him) business members.

Girl, I'm about 65-75 percent sure he likes you (there is still a lot of factors).
He is putting up his business posture but he is also zoning out competition by staying close to you.
