hello people! i havent posted on here in a while which really has nothing to do with anything but i have a question.

i have a friend with Nemaline myopathy which is a muscle disorder and was wondering if anyone here had it and could answer my question. Do people Nemaline myopathy or any muscle disorder for that matter hit puberty very late or regular timing? cause this friend of mine is 14 and has no signs of puberty besides mental maturity. please note that i really didnt know where to put this as there are no physical disorder forums. if anyone can anser this question please help :)

Well I don't know too much about this muscle disorder, but generally people who have muscular disorders develop physically later than others, so I am not surprised that he has no signs of puberty at 14.

Muscular movements (and disorders) are caused by a part of the brain that also controls physical development, so it is quite common for people with muscular disorders to develop later than most people.
