Why do people think its so bad. Its not and you dont get a high like extacy like people explain it. Its a mind high and the only thing u can suffer is the giggles.

It's a healing medecine, but can be considered a gateway to cigarettes which leads to alchohol which leads to pills which leads to needles and such.

But I don't see what's wrong with it either. :D

Spice isn't marijuana, so that's not relevant at all. I've seen spice mess up a lot of people, you shouldn't use it.

Anyways back on topic. Marijuana is considered "bad" simply because of the fact that it is a mind altering substance. Many people believe that you shouldn't want to experience a different mind set, they think its weak and pathetic. (Then of course all those people go out and get hammered at Friday's)

Marijuana isn't bad, it does more good than it does harm. It's also deemed a gateway drug because some people do use it as one. However, most of the people in that situation would have gotten there without marijuana. If you're doing other drugs after marijuana, that was already your mind set. Marijuana didn't cause that, you did.

Same thing goes for kids who drop out/fail and smoke. They would have dropped and failed regardless, marijuana was just involved in the process, and so everyone blames it on the drug.

Scientifically marijuana is "not bad."

cannabis is considered bad and deadly and all those other stupid things because some greedy fuck with a paper mill didnt like how hemp was a renewable, cheaper and more environmentally friendly way to make textile products and ran a sleight campaign in the 1920s-1930s. This led to the film Reefer Madness being made which depicts black people smoking weed, playing devils music and disrespecting white people. The government also released a lot of propaganda that is believed by millions as truth today. Ever heard that smoking weed kills brain cells? President Reagan performed a study, subjecting monkeys to cannabis smoke and having a group of monkeys not smoke. The monkeys that were subjected to the smoke died after 3 months and the dead brain cells shown were paraded by the media as the cause of smoking pot - heres what they didnt tell you, after 4 years of being pestered for the conditions of that study they were finally released, revealing how the study was actually conducted. They pumped 63 joints worth of smoke through gas masks strapped to the monkeys face in under five minutes, without additional oxygen, suffocating the monkeys. They used the dead brain cells from oxygen deprivation and said hey look weed kills brain cells, pathetic right? Not the only instance. Cannabis alone has never killed anyone, and not one lung cancer patient has been found from cannabis use alone. All you anti drug people will say this is bullshit, i would know because i used to think like you to until i used this thing called google and found out the truth for myself. Dont believe the shit youve been told do your own research, a good starting point is to a watch a documentary called "The Union" it has some great facts in there to. Also, did you know cannabis can be a green source of fuel as well as a medicine for thousands of different illnesses? A lot of people make money from the prohibition of cannabis (pharmacuetical companies especially) and also think about this, out of the whole time cannabis has existed (since the beginning of time) it has been illegal for less than one percent of its 'lifetime'. People have been smoking this shit for thousands upon thousands of years, if it was as bad as people make it out to be, we would definitely know about it.
