I have to say Johnson. I think he has some real potential and we should give him a shot, but how likely is that? lol

what about Jill Stein?
Been looking at her website's issues page and honestly, there are some things I like a lot such as repealing the Patriot Act and NDAA, as well as most of her positions on foreign policy, immigration, and criminal justice. Unfortunately the batshit insane positions make her very undesirable in my eyes.

Positions like:
Break up the oversized banks that are “too big to fail,” starting with Bank of America. Democratize monetary policy Establish federal, state, and municipal publicly-owned banks Provide tuition-free education from kindergarten through college Impose an immediate moratorium on foreclosures and evictions Phase out nuclear power

There's also the fact that her stances on voting reform are very strange for the most part. Every other position I object to, but not in a "WTF R U Retarded" kind of way.

Provide tuition-free education from kindergarten through college

I don't see what's bad about this. It provides education for everyone, despite financial limitations.

On a side note, I prefer Obama to Romney, but don't really like either. Romney would be a disaster for the US, but Obama could do much more to improve it.

Johnson.
Romney sounds like an awful candidate, I can't take any more of the bullshit about Obama (He's a Muslim/not American/whatever) and I'm libertarian anyway.

It's a nice notion, but COMPLETELY infeasible. At best it would just turn higher education into the same shithole that is the K-12 public education system in America, and at worst it would collapse the entire education sector.

Primary and high school are totally free here, university is very cheap, generally tuition is under 2000 Euros a year and if you still can't pay that the government then the government has tons of grants.

The education here is definitely not worse, probably even better than in the US.
But I guess your point was that it's too hard to change the system so drastically over there and therefore infeasible.

She's become such a joke in the last decade. As much as I love Rosie, she just causes me to facepalm more than I should.

Of course he won't. Thanks, Captain Obvious, for saving the day. Johnson won't stand a chance because he doesn't put himself out as a product for Super PACS and millionaire donors to invest in.

Johnson.
Romney sounds like an awful candidate, I can't take any more of the bullshit about Obama (He's a Muslim/not American/whatever) and I'm libertarian anyway.

So if you were going to vote today, you'd vote based on your already preconceived bias. Don't get me wrong, I'll most likely be voting for Johnson, but saying that you're a libertarian anyway and voting for him BECAUSE of that, then it's no different voting for Romney or Obama if you're a Republican or Democrat.

He's right though, it's no contest. In terms of quality, that is.

He's right though, it's no contest. In terms of quality, that is.

But he's blindly going for a candidate without even looking into their policies. Seriously, that's just as bad as voting Republican or Democratic for no reason other than by affiliation.
