1. Rate how protective/ overprotective your parents are on a scale of 1 to 10.1 would be they make you stay in a sanitary bubble all day, have endless safety rules that result in a babyish scolding for breaking them and doing very communist things to make sneaky punishments (like they hire a bunch of people in white gloves to direct you away from the door so you cant sneak out)
10 would be they don't care where the crap their kid is. You join a gang, they don't care, you start smoking meth, they don't care. You get bunch of kids most parents wouldn't let their kids hang out with and start jumping off a cliff into a raging, ice cold river, they don't care.
2. What don't your parents let you do to be more protective, what are they trying to avoid by doing this?
3.Do you go along with whatever your parents inflict on you or are you a total rebel?

1: 8.
2: I don't know. I do what I want, because they trust that I make the right choice. Usually I do.
3: Always obey Mommy Dearest.

1) does not apply to me. I'm 18 and they've flat out told me I'm an adult now, I have to fly out of their nest so pretty much the parent defense is gone (:
2) uh they don't let me do illegal things which is fine, I don't do illegal things either. But they don't "let" me be sexually active, they don't want me pregnant.
3) their house their rules and since I don't want to be evicted and become homeless, I plan on obeying with what I can't get away with.

1) I would say my mom is about a 8, she wouldn't let me join a gang or anything but she is pretty relaxed. My dad and my step mom like a 3, they are so strict.
2) Like I said before my mom is cool, she lets me do pretty much whatever except illegal things. My dad is very strict. He wants me to be modest and he doesn't let me pierce anything except my ears. I'm driving now and he wants me to call like as soon as I get to where I'm going even if I'm going like all over town running errands he would want me to call at every stop. He takes my phone at 10 every night omg I could go on and on forever
3) At my dads house I just get mad and pout but I don't really rebel too much

1. They are like a 7 or 8...kind of let me do my own thing as long as it's not dangerous or illegal.
2. They don't let me go out without knowing where, when, and having to check in every so often...guess they are trying to avoid me drinking or something.
3. I'm not much of a rebel. :(

1. My mom is probably a 7, while my dad is probably an 8. Both of my parents allow me to do somethings most parents wouldn't agree with. However they know i'm a good kid, and they know what i'm doing isn't harmful.
2. Not really sure. I haven't come into a conflict with my parents in quite a while over them denying me privilege to do something.
3. Sometimes i'll do things behind there back, but most of the things i do they know about. So i'm not much of a rebel.

3. Yes, you never ever dare argue with the almighty mother and father

1. Actually, as much as I bitch about my mom, I'd say 7 or 8.
2. My mom doesn't let me hang out around people she hasn't met first, I can't just be like "yep going to a concert with my friend kbye!" and if I'm staying at their house, she has to meet the parents. I mean, there have been some exceptions, but that's for the most part. But she's pretty reasonable with it. I can pretty much do anything as long as she knows who I'm with and where I am (generally) and she doesn't get on my back much for life choices, even if she doesn't like them. She recognizes I'm almost 18 and I'm going to do things anyway, for example; she'd rather have me smoking cigarettes on the porch rather than me sneaking around her smoking.
3. I can be a rebel a lot of the time but honestly my mom's pretty cool with rules and she gets me, even though we have conflicts.

1. Nine for my mum but not really with the extent you supplied, she does care about me a lot, I think she just understands that if I were going to get into drugs I would have done years ago and everything else she trusts me enough to be able to make a smart decision on. Ten for my dad, he cares too but... I don't know, he's just a little weird, well my family in general is, he bought me a pen knife when I was ten for example.
2. My mum likes me to call if I'm not going to be home for the night.
3. Nothing. I don't really have any rules, as long as I'm not coming home with blood all over me or waving kilos of coke around we're cool, I don't have any rules.

1. 3
2. They don't let me... use my computer without the door wide open and the screen facing it, on some nights they don't let me shower without someone else in the bathroom, and they're afraid of losing their precious illusion of control over me.
3. 100%... okay, 85% rebel.

1. 6
2. I have to text or call them all the time to tell them where I am, I have to stay in certain peramiters and tell them if i move from say the park to the shop down the road, i have to tell them who i'm with and where.
3. 97% rebel always!

1. About 7'ish, i'd say.. mom cares, but she's very busy with work most times so she does the best she can.
2. We (as in my brother and me.. well, my brother more than me these days since he still kinda lives at home) need to tell her where we are going and how long we plan to stay wherever we are going and if we're gonna miss a 'deadline' we need to call so she doesn't worry.
3. More or less, yeah.. see no reason not to.

1. 6. Now that I'm "of age", they aren't very overprotective...of course they wouldn't let me do illegal stuff -- not that I would. But before I moved into my dorm room, they seemed -- at least my mom -- "overprotective" on what I do online. I don't do anything bad, but whatever they don't understand they think it's bad, like forums. They no longer mind if a friend (a boy) invites me to a party (which rarely happens, but the time it did was a graduation party), but it's not like I get invited all the time.
2. Not sure, but obviously they won't let me do anything illegal (which I would never do). They won't let me play online games, but I still do it when they aren't around...
3. Unless they get suspicious over something stupid, like my site (which has "Chat" in it), I go along with whatever they inflict since it isn't so bad anymore.

1. My mom, probably a 6 and my step dad probably an 8. I used to feel like they were always on my back and in my business, but it doesn't bother me much anymore.
2. They let me do pretty much whatever, but I know there are consequences if I do something illegal (obviously) or something against what they would want me to. They make me text them whenever I go somewhere to tell them who I'm with, where I'm at and who drove. I've been caught lying before :/ no fun! Annnd because of that I have a curfew...BOOOOO!!! :(
3. As long as I live under their roof, I'll follow the rules. I like the freedom I do have and I don't want to lose it while I'm living with them lol

1. I'd say 6
2. They always want to know what I'm doing but don't really attempt to stop me unless its something pretty wrong I want to do. They always complain about my driving they say I drive to fast and they also would go crazy if I did any drugs but luckily I don't:D. The only thing they stop me doing is having parties when they are away. Oh and I'm not allowed any girls to stay the night unless I'm in a relationship or promise nothing will be going happening, not really a problem at all for me!
3. I wouldn't say I'm the perfect son but I don't really have the desire to do anything they don't want me to, the rules they make aren't stopping me from doing anything I want to do and they aren't unreasonable so I'm a pretty problem free guy haha
