Hundreds of loyal Apple customers are furious after the technology giant failed to release adaptors needed for the new iPhone 5.
The highly anticipated gadget –which sold five million units worldwide during the first weekend of its release on September 21 – has a new charging connector which is 80 per cent smaller than previous models.
The change means millions who rushed to buy the new phone at prices of up to $850 can no longer use existing accessories such as music systems and car chargers until they get a new adaptor.

They'll get over it. Technology changes, and with that the accessories are bound to change too. I really don't care if the charging port is smaller. Hasn't affected me yet.

That's what you get when you fail to do research on what you're buying.

Exactly. How about you get a phone with the industry standard Micro USB port and save all of the hassle?
Overrated products ruin the world.

That's why you don't buy that sort of stuff for awhile until they get that shit sorted out.

In a surprise and "apologetic" gesture from Apple, the iPhone 6 now comes with the old accessory port! Don't forget to re-buy the accessories that you lost or threw away!

If you want to get the iPhone 5 the first day it comes out when your current iPhone is still fine, you can buy the new accessories as well. It's only money to spend, after all. What's the difference between spending it on a phone you don't need and accessories you feel you don't need (to re-buy)?
Darkness.

If you're going to buy a new phone with a different connector, you should wait for the adaptors to be released before buying. it's common sense.

So many uninformed buyers D:
Why can't you just look into what you're going to buy?
I mean, really. Is it that hard?
