I have an iPod touch 4th Generation (the newer of the 2 that came out), that came with iOS 5. I updated it to iOS 6 about 2 weeks ago, and it was really good the first few days. It now freezes and glitches often, and the App Store doesn't work at all! Has anyone else been experiencing these problems? Just wondering if it is common, or if I need to be contacting Apple. Thanks!

I updated my iPod (4th gen also) a couple of days ago to the iOS 6 and everytime I open my Safari for longer than ten minutes it'll close down by itself and none of my tabs are saved. I'm thinking of contacting apple because it's becoming a pain in the butt.

I updated my iPad a week or two ago. It kept dropping my Internet connection, but the problem fixed itself after about a day. I sometimes have problems with the App Store, but that can usually be fixed by closing it and reopening it.

Thanks, I got my iPod for Christmas 2011, and Apple told me that my technical support has expired...so I'm already mad at them, and the App Store, it doesn't matter what I do...it just doesn't work right now. I was thinking about my first statement to Apple being, "Your new software has made me unable to purchase games and apps from you." And see how they respond to that(:

I would perhaps book an appointment in an Apple Store, at a Genius Bar, and talk to someone who might be able to help you.
Your nearest Apple Store can be found here.. http://www.apple.com/retail/
If all else fails, you could always restore it to factory settings...
Hope this helps.

I think iOS 6 is fine. Nothing really wrong with it. I'm getting the iPhone 5 soon anyway, so not gonna have many glitches if the device is pre-programmed with the software when assembled.

restore it, it might work then, I was having problems with my ipod after I updated, it's all working(ish) now, but it has a lag now.

just wait - they tend to release iOS software before it's 100% ready because they release a new iOS every year ... this means it will be quite buggy and not working properly to start off with but they should release an update fairly soon addressing the most important problems.
Just keep checking for updates - that's what i'm doing being i'm having similar problems
