Any girls wear hold ups (stockings) at school?

At my school (in the UK) we have to wear skirts and black tights, sheer or opaque and I really hate tights, they sag in the crotch and I get hot 'down there'.
i was just talking to my mum about it and she suggested getting some hold ups.
She said you can get opaque ones as well as sheer ones but I'm scared that if I get some they will fall down and cause embarrassment at school, my mum wears them but my legs are skinnier than hers so im scared they wont stay up, so if other girls wear them at school I'd appreciate your advice

I don't wear them at school often, but I do wear them. They won't "fall down" as such, and what you can do is sew in a little bit of a lace up (like this (http://www.madamefantasy.com/WebRoot/StoreGB/Shops/61359424/4C5E/E3D3/31E4/314C/8C22/C0A8/28BB/CDF0/lace-up-tie-spandex-stockin_s.jpg)) to stop them from sliding throughout the day. The other option, of course, is a garter belt/suspender belt. They've been sexualized over time, but they're still practical as hell.

That looks like it might be a bit uncomfortable.
I mentioned suspenders to my mum but she said I was too young for them.
I'm gonna get some hold ups tomorrow and try them at home 1st I think and see if the stay up before I try wearing them at school

I've worn them once. If you get them a good fit, the most they'll do is bunch a bit around the knees. I myself used medical tape to wrap it around the top under my dress. I basically taped them to my legs but Evil Angel's idea sounds 10x better.

I've worn hold ups before they usually stay up for me if you're just doing a mildly active day if you're planning on running around a lot then no :P
I'd also have suggested a garter belt but I have a feeling that's much too provocative for school, but if you do find they're falling down buy a smaller size so they fit? Or of course Alex's suggestion is pretty awesome if you can be bothered to do it properly

I don't wear stockings or tights. I hate having anything that covers my feet. I think I'm werid like that.
