Whenever I hear this song I get really emotional. I don't know why. I don't even know what the message of the song is. Can someone tell me?

If you watch the video it makes a lot more sense. My interpretation of the song is a story of 2 friends that divert and go on different paths. In their childhood they accomplish something so simple as riding a bike with no handlebars. Eventually they strive for much more and one takes a righteous path while the other goes power mad. Basically I think the song writer is trying to prove a point that we can start off pure and be happy with simple things to make us happy but as we get older, the choices we make ultimately shape who we are.

The song is about how humans have the potential to be creative or destructive, and how it's almost encouraged in our military society to be destructive. It's actually a really deep song that is rarely noticed for being so. That's why I love Flobots.
