So, I didn't really want to post a thread but google is being shitty and doesn't have the answers I need.
Lately I've been zoning out a lot in school and out. Usually when I'm not focusing on something I just kind of drift away and stare at something and I lose the seconds I'm in the 'trance' for. When I half snap out of it I can hear people again and see things but I don't really completely snap out of it until quite a few seconds after that where I'm able to move my head again.
It really is probably nothing and I guess could be caused by stress or something? I'm also very tired all the time, no amounts of sleep can rid the exhaustion, could they be related? I ache so much more than I used to, I'm getting headaches a lot and also find it really hard to think, everything in my head just feels as though it's spinning round and I can't sort it out.
Haha now I'm just rambling on about all my problems. Well, I guess they could be related. So yeah, anyone have any ideas as to what the zoning out could be related to and I'd appreciate an insight into some of the other factors as well?

Most of it is very common in severe depression, most of what you said here I have myself dearie
The aching and headache can be a lot of things so I won't guess about that
Love you nikki and I hope it goes over soon :hug3:

Well i think what you are experianceing is actually epilepsy. Are you completely unaware of these zone-outs? If you are, then It's most likely siezures due to your unhealthy living conditions. (lack of sleep and etc) I dont know about your headaches, but it sounds like a doctor could help.

I disagree with this. Unless you have an issue with flashing lights in my personal opinion it would be unlikely. Although (sorry to be a hypocrite) only a doctor could tell you what's wrong.
Remember Nikki if you want to talk you can get hold of me any time....I only wish I could do more.

@gandalf that is not true, Epilepsy cn develop at any part of anybodies life due to horrible living conditions (stress is a very big factor) and siezures vary in length, some can be just seconds long, and in great frequency, it may not be triggered always by flashing lights and whatnot, it could be triggered at a certain time or by mental stillness.

Well I do stare off myself, and its like I am not paying attention to anyone else. I really dont know why you are doing that? When I do it, it just gives me peace and tranquility and after I kinda feel sleepy.
Its nothing to worry about, but maybe its just your brain kind of 'resting' in a sense. Try getting more sleep. Also, if your going to bed at different times each night, and waking up at different times each morning, it can really throw off your bodies internal clock, if you feel like you need help going to sleep just take 1 mg of Melatonin and that should help, I myself take 3 mg - 6 mg, but I rarely use Melatonin. Just try using it to set your body to a certain time, so you go to bed, and wake up at around the same time. It may also have to do with stress? But your the one to know whether its stress or not.

Are you getting your vitamins? Deficiencies in certain nutrients can cause this. I find I lack energy and I'm, oh, not really grounded when I don't get enough B vitamins.
As for the headaches, it may not be serious. I just wonder how much water you are drinking in a day?

Yeah, B vitamins will definitely cause lack of energy, also fat soluble vitamins may cause lack of energy. Lack of water doesn't really have to do with headaches (for me at least) I barely drink any water, if I'm lucky I will go to the gym and go to the water fountain at least 4x during that gym visit, other than that I mainly drink juices, milk, soda, etc

All you mentioned can relate to one thing:
Zoning out , Headache , Feeling always tired is a sign of depression/Anxiety and you might be low on vitamin D
Stress cause the headaches , When your body trying to tell you something is wrong like you are not getting enough sleep or enough food in your system you get a headache, When you have depression you tend to have more headaches and pain!
You need to see a doctor to get one drug therapy and treatment for the depression and you can also:
-Try relaxation techniques like yoga or a long bath
-Exercise
-Get more night sleep
-Stay away from anything makes you stressful
-Get vitamins
-Drink a lot of water

I'm not sure about epilepsy, my 'living conditions' have been getting a lot better in the past few weeks. I've been getting a lot more sleep and feel even more tired than I used to. Although you said about stress, I'm pretty stressed all the time, always have something on my mind.

I haven't a clue whether I'm getting the vitamins I need. The only thing I know I'm lacking is Iron and being anaemic I take 500mg a day, or should do anyway. I know that dehydration is a big factor in what causes the headaches, I drink maybe a bottle (500ml) a day, I just tend not to get thirsty.

You'd be surprised at how difficult the first 4 are but I'll try. The water one I can do, I can maybe get some vitamins. Thanks Vivey.

I think it could be a lack of sleep. Try using this weekend to catch up on sleep.
