There's been a lot of issues about contraception and the catholic church. In the Philippines, they are currently debating on the so called RH Bill which I saw on wikipedia. For you, is contraception considered as killing?
My answer is no, because there is no life yet formed. If the kid would just suffer, after being born it is better just to not get him/her born.

In their eyes it is because it's the prevention of life, so you're basically taking away the right to live before it even can form. You've stolen its right to be formed and blocked the sperm from the egg/the egg implanting. Killed it because you never gave it the chance to begin with.
I don't see contraception as a killer, I see it as prevention. To me a condom is not a mass murder weapon.

oh god. i understand why some people think that abortion is murder.. but contraceptive? really?
i mean, if they think that a contraceptive is then masturbation is also. and so is sex because if you have a sperm count of 980234 (which is highly unlikely) and only one gets to it then you just killed 980233 possiblilties.

As said before, I don't think it is murder as a life has not been created.

As to masturbation, the Roman Catholic Church think it is murder because according to them, you are killing an organism which has life in itself. But for me, why give life to something just to make it suffer?

Its not "killing" or "murder" being its a egg and sperm and well they dont create an organism being alone each is a cell... What makes up an organism. Unless its bacteria but thats different but yes its not killing.

No, it's not killing. Don't see how it's killing at all. Life hasn't been created.

It kills sperm and eggs, but they die all the time. No human being has been created yet, so there's nothing to kill. Yes it prevents a person from being created, but that's not the same as killing them.

But life had actually existed, as sperm are alive.
Of course, it is not killing. I do not think most people have a problem killing organisms they can not see with their eyes. Otherwise, washing your hands would be murder!

That's very true. Going by their logic we should probably mourn once a month for the egg that was kicked out of women's bodies.

with the Church's logic, Masturbation is genocide, and letting a girl have a period is also murder. In a scientific sense, humans have 46 chromosomes. Sperm and eggs only have half of that so they're not really humans at all

So you're saying that people in third-world countries shouldn't have babies?

So you're saying that people in third-world countries shouldn't have babies?
Indeed. A lot of women bring birth to unwanted children, in which will only burden their life.
A working class parents will have to economize when they have more than three children.
Because of this, parents cannot pay for school fees, and the children are left like this, without education, that or or sent to work, or worse.

Not to not have babies.. but the mere fact that religion is interfering with such things that can prevent them from having to much babies.. their reason for having 5-10 babies? BOREDOM

So you're saying that people in third-world countries shouldn't have babies?
No. It'd be stupid to say that. Then there'd be no children to carry out the work when they are of age to do so. They should just have less babies. Like maybe 1 to 2. This is the best amount of babies to have in any country to stabilize their population.
And it's not "third-world" countries; it's lesser developed countries. You make yourself sound like you're stuck in the Cold War era where everyone in the United States, Canada, Western Europe, Australia and New Zealand were 1st world countries and everyone else (except for the countries under Communist rule - which were second-world countries) was considered third-world.
A lot of women bring birth to unwanted children, in which will only burden their life.
The first part of this statement isn't actually a fair. Most women in lesser developed countries either don't have any control over their bodies or just don't know that they can. It's a cultural thing, obviously, but it does indeed put a burden their lives. Once women are educated that they can have control over their bodies and have less kids, then population will stabilize and so will other aspects of a society. But the cultural barriers need to be pushed aside in countries like India and a lot of countries in Africa.

When you are trying for a baby you prevent 50 billion other lives as only one sperm gets in. Lets stop having sex altogether then?

How is a condom any different to ejaculating anywhere else? People don't call it murder when people cum into a tissue.

So by their definition of murder, if i scraped my knee on the pavement outside would that also be murder since skin cells got ripped off and died?

People don't call a man an a woman having sex without a condom trying to have a kid but she can't get pregnant (due to some complication) murder.
Just throwing that out there.

By this logic, would it be murder to have you period?
"I'm sorry officer, I couldn't get someone to get me pregnant this month. Lock me up for not letting my eggs be fertilized, it's murder."
