American and Canadian Netflix

Ok so American netflix has around 14,000 titles on it whereas Canadian only has around 2,600. I've heard around that you can get US netflix in Canada by using american proxies but I don't understand how that works, can someone elaborate on this please? Canadian netflix is real bad compared to US, alot of the shows dont put on the latest 2 seasons.

Not proxies, these aren't fast enough for streaming video. The services you're thinking of are DNS and VPN services like Tunlr (http://tunlr.net) and UnoDNS. I don't know exactly how they work, but they trick the service into thinking you live in the US.
