They're pretty good Mike! I'm not entirely sure what I'm looking at in the first one, though. I like the third one the best, the angle the photo was taken from gives it a nice perception of depth within the picture. The last one feels like it has a lot of dead space with the sky in it like it is, and I think the similarity of the sidewalk color to the sky in the black and white setting adds to that, although I'm assuming that was intentional. Either way, much better than I could have done!

I like second one best, but they're all really cool. One thing I would say though, is that maybe slightly higher contrast and/or lower brightness would help the last one. The legs in the first picture are a little too close to the edge in my opinion, so maybe cropping the left just a little bit would bring them closer to the third line. But hey, these are just suggestions.
What camera did you use?

I'm a big fan of b&w and overall, I think you did a pretty nice job with these. :)
Just some suggestions;
1- If it were not for the 2nd photo, I would be looking at the first one not sure of what the photo was of. Maybe consider keeping this photo in color? Composition-wise, it is interesting and works for me.
2- Maybe it is just me, but the trees to the far left look brighter than those on the left and that kind of draws my attention away from the girl. Maybe play around with levels in Photoshop to make the background a more uniform brightness and darken it a little so that the bright girl is more prominent.
3- Interesting view!
4- Love the perspective and leading lines. Maybe a bit more contrast could do it some good?

My favourite is the first one, I love the sense of movement you get from it, and the composition is perfect

The parking lifts, are they a landmark or some common place? Cos I've found this (http://thumbs.dreamstime.com/thumblarge_467/1262730244725W2b.jpg) picture, and it's the same place :D

They're all over the place in New York (city) :P However I can tell that's the same place I took the photo! Pretty cool lol, It's right next to a park in New York called The Highline. It used to be an elevated train track that ran above the streets in the village but it became abandoned and overgrown/rundown. In the 60's conservationists began to preserve it and in the 90's they started restoring it and it became a park. It's a pretty cool place. Lets you have an interesting view of the city from two stories above the street.

The first two are what excite me most. Get more nature and people - less suburbia. Keep it up though, nignog.

Contrast is a real attention-grabber, so try playing with that in post-processing. Other than that I think these are really nice. You have good instincts when it comes to space, which is a really subtle thing that can make or break your photograph. The girl in the first two looks like a good model-try experimenting with different ideas with her (if she's up for it). Keep it up!

I think you have some good ideas, you can narrow your subject by eliminating background subjects. Your shots seem to memory shots with an artistic twist. Their very nice. One question though. Film or digital. And which camera(and film if applicable) did you use.

Lookin good, Mikey! (Not you, your photos :P)
I'd maybe play with them a little in post. If you have Photoshop, start experimenting with light and exposure. Hint hint - gradient tool!
Remember with black & white, unless you do intend for a flatter look, I'd like to see more blacks and whites, more motivation towards your subject and lesser toward the background and secondary objects.
All the best :D
