The only way to deal with smegma under those circumstances is to flush it out with the shower head. One other things that some guys do is to hold the foreskin shut and piss into it - let it 'inflate' then let go, and the urine should take smegma with it. I had phimosis for awhile but could never bring myself to do that. I suppose it is up to you.

You could also say the opposite. Cut guys who have never felt being uncut justify not knowing what they don't have normalize it by saying that it doesn't matter or other cultural "norms" such as "cleaner" or not being "ugly". A skin bridge can be easily fixed by a doctor, and you might be more comfortable
having it fixed.

There is a lot of propaganda out there about the supposed evils of circumcision.
"Many" people is more like a few saying it over and over. The vast majority of
circumcised men are happy with it, or at least are not unhappy with it. I've heard
of a few guys who went through "restoration" and then didn't like it and had themselves
circumcised all over again.

Cut = circumcised, uncut = uncircumcised. When guys are born, they are born uncircumcised (i.e. with a foreskin), but some parents chose to get their sons circumcised (or they are circumcised later in life for medical purposes), which entails the removal of the foreskin. So the basic difference between cut and uncut is the foreskin- uncut guys still have it, cut guys don't.

months to a year, for everything to settle down to the way it's going to be. I've

I think you clearly misunderstood me. I am absolutely against routine circumcision at birth with the exception of religious customs. What I was referring to is that there is a small but very vocal group of people called "intactivists" who take things beyond your typical "I think it is wrong, it shouldn't be done" view. That is what I was referring to. The tide really is changing in parts of America, particularly along the coasts. Some states have done a good job of not covering the procedure under medicaid.

Unless you're injecting stem cells into your penis with a needle, there is no way that foreskin can grow back once you've been circumcised.
You're not tugging at foreskin, you're tugging at the extra skin that envelops your penis.

Some circumcised guys have insufficient shaft tissue remaining and have really tight erections that can lead to ripping skin. I have a friend who is circumcised and his is so tight that a few years back, his skin ripped all along the raphe line. In my opinion, the words and doctrine of a book written thousands of years ago have very little relevance in the modern world. If you want to support freedom of circumcision on religious grounds (and start quoting Constitutional Rights), you'd better support people's right to stone women and decapitate homosexuals, too.

Well said yourself. We can look on the upside of the cut-happy culture in the US...at the present, statistics vary, but anywhere between 35-50% are being circumcised today, and as the states defund it from medicare [in its various forms] the rate will go down. Hopefully it'll be equalized under the law and made federally illegal. It's probably naive to hope so as most lawmakers are upper middle class circumcised white males. It'll happen eventually.

Ill be honest in my experience being Uncut ive always been told im weird and im a freak because im in a region where most males are cut. Personally im not for or against either. I like my penis and im sure you like yours too. But to say that inactivists are unfair to the cut members of the population is textbook stereotyping. If you watch 'mainstream' straight porn then it's no surprise most guys seem circumcised. A lot of the most popular porn studios and sites are owned by/based in the USA and the norm for guys there is to be circumcised (at least it is for guys old enough to be in porn, I think it's about 50/50 now) so that's what you're going to see more of. If you look on the tube/webcam sites then you'll see a much higher proportion of Asian and European guys that are uncut due to the social norms in those countries.

It would depend. If the uncut person didn't clean under their foreskin then it would be more hygienic to be cut. However, as long as the person cleans under the foreskin it wouldn't really make a difference from a hygiene point of view.

I'm not circumcised, and I find that my foreskin is very tight around the head of my penis. This means that when I try to wash my penis it hurts to pull back the foreskin and when I try to pull my foreskin back (when masturbating) it hurts to the point where I can't pull it back at all.

What should I do? you could try foreskin exercises or if it really doesn't work you may have to consider circumcision

It's by no means healthier to be circumcised. Uncircumcised guys need to clean under their foreskin but that doesn't mean that it's automatically unhealthy of unhygienic, it's the same as someone not regularly washing their armpits or feet - before too long it would start to smell and become unhealthy for the person - it's an extra 10 seconds in the shower.

As long as you don't get water in your urethra then it shouldn't hurt at all. Just retract the foreskin and wash around the area, then rinse it and you're all done. It's really quite simple.

That's perfectly normal. Some people just have naturally shorter foreskin than others. It doesn't really make a difference when it comes to sex or masturbation so you should be fine.

This is quite a common misconception that people have about foreskin and being uncircumcised. When you're uncut, cleaning under your foreskin becomes a habit similar to brushing your teeth and washing your feet - it becomes part of your washing routine and you hardly realise at all. At most it takes 10 seconds longer to wash and after that it's unnoticeable.

It's true that sometimes foreskin can cause issues, but I'd question whether there's more issues caused by unnecessary circumcision than there is by natural foreskins.

It's probably so close because 95% of the circumcised results are from Americans and 95% of the uncircumcised results are from the rest of the world. The amount of kids circumcised at birth in the USA has changed in recent years so that's probably why the results are incredibly close - a similar poll done maybe 15 or 20 years ago would have been significantly different.
