Seriously.

If you're posting on this forum:

1. You don't have enough experience to know anything about politics (this includes me)

2. Your parents, your teachers and your fav musicians have waaaayyy overinfluenced your thinking

3. You are just going to get your brain taken over by the memes of the two big parties

In another ten years, maybe I'll care, for now the situation is out of hand and I don't know how to fix it.

Excuse me, you think I get my opinions from my parents. I can tell you right now that I make my own opinions on different topics I'm interested in. You don't care for this forum of ROTW, don't post or look in it. Simple. Don't come in here saying we're influenced, because you know it will be a flame war levied against you. Just, stop. It's called ROTW for a reason. Again, don't like it, don't look at it or post in it. OK.

>telling people they shouldn't post here because they don't understand something
>tell them they have no experience, and hence, should shut the fuck up
>tell them that they are influenced too easily
>tell them they're being brainwashed by political parties/slogans

Man, I really really want to rename this place "Rustling of the Jimmies", because that's all this forum has become now. If you don't like politics threads, go past them. Also, you joined just yesterday; do you REALLY think we're going to give you the light of day?

You're right, I have no political experience. I also don't have experience in being a hair stylist, doesn't mean I can't give my opinions on hair/hair care does it?

My parents raised me to be able to think for myself. And that's just what I do. Jimmy Joe Bob does not alter how I think unless he's got something to say that makes me ponder that stance I've taken. My teacher's do not mold my mind, my parents have not molded my mind, I find it ironic you're trying to influence me yourself.

I've got the tin foil ready for my brain. But really, people are probably going to lean in one party more than they do the other. That's just how it goes, our ideas have two sides, one more fitting to the other. Very few people can strictly walk in the middle path, it's too hard to actually do that. Sure people can say they're in the middle lane, absolutely free party that's real easy to say, but it's actually walking it that matters. Some ideas are more fitting of the conservative than the liberal, some ideas are more defined to the Republicans than Democrats. That's just life, somehow we get by.

People have the right to make their opinion known.

Even if said opinion is really stupid as shit, such as your OP.

First amendment baby.

Not sure whether to laugh or cry.
First of all, experience? What exactly constitutes experience? A lot of VT members are over the age of 18, if being a legal adult and thus able to vote makes you "experienced." Otherwise, the vast majority of voters don't have enough experience since they're not politicians. The fact is, age does not have anything to do with one's ability to see what's going on and think about it.

My parents? Well, no. I don't even have the same political views as them. My teachers don't talk about politics unless it's in historical context (right now we're studying imperial China so I don't see how that's relevant) and as far as music goes, most of it promotes anarchy, something which I personally don't support.

Memes? Sorry, don't do memes. Quit meme sites ages ago.

Don't assume things about VTers, especially when you only joined a day ago. We all have the right to freedom of opinion, but yours is just an incorrect, general statement.

This thread has no purpose and just provokes arguments that do not support a debate. :locked:
