I want to try getting into photography. I have a 3DS which takes 3D images that can be edited in normal photo editing software. Anyways, it has really bad image quality for doing high quality images, is there a way I can improve the images I take so they look nice? Also what are some tips you guys can give me? Please note I am limited and the best I can get is pinta image editor.

Try and get a cheap, secondhand camera somewhere. There is no way a 3DS can compare to a camera and all it's different functions. As for photo editing, try Gimp. It's free and does everything you'll need to get done. I think a camera is a more pressing need if you really want to get into photography.

I just want to use my 3DS Camera untill I can buy my own. I'm broke right now and we are about to move to georgia. Pinta is a paint.net clone, it comes with many affedcts to choose from

I don't have a 3DS, but I would assume as all cameras that are on another device, that it is not the best. Like Iris said, you should try to get a camera, doesn't have to be the best. I have never used pinta (As I am used to using Photoshop/Aperture) but I don't think you can really make it a whole lot better just using an editing program.

Agreeing with all the other guys up there, but maybe if you've got a friend that's got a proper camera you could ask to borrow it (with them around if you're not allowed to take it) and maybe, ask him/her if they can show you around it, give you some tips and tricks. This until you can buy your own camera of course as I'm sure your friend won't appreciate it if you're always asking to borrow their camera!
