Its pretty cool. I used to use rocket dock but eventually got rid of it because i have so many icons on my desktop. I used to use it for games and programs i use but now i have too many. I currently have like 80 something shortcuts on my desktop.

I use cairodock with ubuntu, I'm working on a theme similar to mac.

I'm not a fan of Mac, but I don't like having Desktop icons, and prefer the Dock design. Don't get me wrong, I love Windows, but I don't like having a cluttered desktop.I'm kind of OCD about that, I guess. I go to great lengths to make my computer the way I want it, whether with performance or aesthetics.

Windows 8 is a good idea if you have a tablet but there is going to be a ton of restrictions to using it on desktop computers, But I got ubuntu.
I like the looks and sounds of mac but I don't like the way the OS works. Ubuntu it much faster and less restricted so I'm theming it like mac, if you would like I can send you an ISO of my OS

I said goodbye to unity a long while ago, so now its a peace of cake to theme my OS and everything. However, it was a pain to port the mac dock theme to Cairo-dock.
