Hey guys. I am pretty new to smoking pot. The first time i did it, it was lighter stuff and it was a nice mellow high. I enjoyed it and had a lot of fun. The second time i did it, it was very strong. I only had one hit. After the hit, i started coughing a lot more than the first time i had smoked. I gagged and thought i was going to puke just from the hit.
The effects started kicking in and it was WAY stronger than the first stuff. I could barely concentrate and i immediately felt very tired. I also felt pretty heavy at one point like if gravity was pulling me down more than usual.
I was with 4 other guys and me and this one kid left part of the group to go check up on a fire we made back at the house. I dont remember walking back to the fire at all. Aparently my friend said i wanted to just pass out. When i got to the fire, i started enjoying the high for a little bit. When the rest of the group got back, i layed down on a bench because i got tired again. Then we went inside the house and i fell asleep for atleast half an hour. I woke up puking a lot. It was horrible and in slow motion. I puked twice that night.
Why exactly did i throw up. Was the weed too strong for me only being my second time? Also, why did i feel so tired? I havent smoked since. I would like to but am terrified to have another night like that.

It could have been too big of a hit for you and you gagged on it and swallowed some of the smoke. Swallowing smoke (into your stomach) could cause that. It's happened to some of my friends before.

Simply put, you're a lightweight. You're a new user so you don't have much tolerance, weed is going to hit you a lot stronger. It sounds like you smoked an indica dominant strain, which basically makes you feel like a rock baking in the sun. The slow motion stuff is nothing to be worried about. That happens when you get up there.
The reason why you puked is most likely what Mike already said. Took a big hit and wound up swallowing the smoke. That's a no-no.
Also, i've had a friend puke because we chain smoked for about an hour and he didn't eat anything. When you smoke cannabis it depletes your vitamin c, and when your vitamin c levels get too low it can cause nausea and vomiting. So make sure you eat and drink!

Thanks for the response. I dont remember exactly what i did when i took the hit but it was definitely a big one. I will do my best to try not to swallow the smoke next time. I definitely dont want another night like that.

Where I'm from we call it "Greening out" and it usually follows dizziness cause by a mix of dehydration and or hunger + good weed, or like ImCoolBeans said swallowing the smoke
Reminds me of a time where we just got off work at Wendy's, and started blazing some OG Kush, amazing flavor, amazing high, then BAM! Projectile vomit on the front door...
I chalked it up to dehydration and lack of sleep because the next day, blazed the same stuff and didn't puke ;)
Also adding to what Phenomenon said, in addition to vitamin C cannabis also depletes Vitamin B12, zinc, B vitamins, vitamin E and Magnesium. This doesn't mean take a multi-vitamin between joints lol just eat and sleep regularly and keep hydrated
Look at me rambling away lol w/e, have a good one

yeah you seemed to have either smoked to much for your tolerance level and greened out or swallowed a bit of smoke which can make you vomit. Your all good bro just take a smaller hit next time

Well...when you ingest something bad into your body...your body tries to eliminate it. It does that orally by causing you to throw up...and it does it via the digestive tract by causing diarrhea.
Weed might not be something that you tolerate well; the fact that others can and you can't might just be one of those things....

Just sounds like you took to much, I don't really have a clue about weed if I'm honest. I imagine though if you take to much of any drug you won't feel good. Also I don't think it's anything to serious it's happened to my friend stay smoke weed occasionally, where I'm from its colourfully referred to as a "whitey" and you would be the "whitey victim"

That happens a lot when your body is dehydrated or exhausted. Has happened to me many times before although I never puked from smoking weed, I've felt like i was close. This has nothing to do with tolerance or how much you smoke. Sometimes you can get bad hits that just go down the wrong way, sometimes you can be dehydrated or from lack of food, or sometimes you can just be tired. Also, you aren't very familiar with the feeling of being high yet, you will get used to it.

I've greened... really bad like near passing out type of greening. My heart was going so fast I thought it would just burst out of my chest lol. But after a while I just started mellowing down and started feeling tired yet still buzzed... This was a year after I first started and yet it was the first time I ever greened. Idk about the puking but I never experienced that. Good stuff will get you there lol. Oh and stuff was 2D-ish somewhat lol.
