Once upon a sunny day

Once upon a sunny day
I sat under the sun and wished my cares away
The deceiving sweet song of the birds in the trees
Told lies of we children not of ease
My mind wandered lazily around the lush green field
Trying to find answers and discover what was real
I sighed once again and came back to real life
Sitting in Health trying to forget ever-present strife

Yeah I was daydreaming in Health today and all of a sudden the first line just popped into my head...then the second...and then I was like HEY that's good! I should work with it! So I did :P I showed it to my English teacher from last year [LOVE him- I talk to him every chance I get, about pretty much anything. Lol last year I even stayed after school and demonstrated my new skills in teaching myself the clarinet :P I've given him lots of basic music theory lessons, too, which he's shared with his prodigy daughter who apparantly loves me now :)] And yeah, he says I should submit that, and some of my other stuff, to Adagio, our literary magazine. I told him I meant to last year but never got around to and he said this year I have no choice lol
