i had this dream the other night. i have had similar dreams but this is the first time it got this far. i had a dream about a family event that must have taken place at some time in my life but i dont remember. i was with all my family att restaurant not sure where.. anyways in the dream i felt my father(or some man not sure if its him) i felt them fingering me. this felt very strange and now im having concerns that i may have been molested as a child. what should i do. should i talk to my mom?
im kind of worried now and now its making me see men in a different way

While it could be a suppressed memory, it's equally likely that it's a manifestation of the psychological phenomenon known as the Electra Complex or Female Oedipus Complex (a subconscious sexual attraction to the father/father figure.) I suppose it really would depend on what you feel emotionally during the dream.
However, a recurring dream is definitely not enough of a reason to convince yourself of anything. It's evidence, for sure, but not substantial enough.

It is possible that it is a repressed memory but I wouldn't base accusations entirely on a reoccurring dream.

Do you remember reading or javing a convorsation about that subject the day you had the dream? That can usualy influence your dreams. But other then that i agree with evil angel

I honestly have a hard time believing you were. Just a bad dream. If that does happen to someone, they usually never forget it! The fact that you can remember the same place, means you most likely would've remembered being abused.
