Hi I have this friend who likes this one girl who he has known since 5th grade. He keeps telling me that he's going to ask her out, but he hasnt yet. Any tips?

Uh, he's either shy of full of talk. I don't know what to say really, just tell him to do it? The worst she can say is no, if that happens then he'll pick himself up and move on to find girls that like him. If not, yay the longtime crush is his!

First of all try not to get caught up in or worry about other peoples problems , but you seem like a nice guy so I'll help you out.

Anyways tell him to just do it. If he doesn't ask the answer is anyways, right?
Oh and like free fall says "all she can say is no." that's not entirely true because it hurts being told no. The girl I'm in love with rejected me and I've been depressed for weeks. So let him know that it can really be hard to deal with if she says no. But I think he should just go for it anyways. And I will say to him:

To be honest, it really isn't your business to get involved in this guys relationships or feelings about other people. He will ask her out when he is good and ready. He is probably very shy and is just afraid of rejection.

Overall you really shouldn't get caught up in your friends relationships as it can ruin your own friendship with him. Let him decide what he wants to do, its his life.
