Urinals

So whenever i have to use the bathroom at school i never use the urinals and i just have to use the stalls even if its all empty. Is that strange or are other people going to think im weird?

There's nothing wrong with using the stalls; that's why they're there. If it's because you have a "nervous bladder", then that's fine too. The same thing happens to me whenever some guy stands at the urinal right next to mine. You are in the bathroom to take care of business, so don't be concerned about how you actually go about doing it: just do it lol

i think that would be weird at my school. there are a couple of guys that won't use the urinals and when they head to a stall everybody is like wtf is up with that kind of look on their face. I don't get it actually. I just think it's neat that we can pee standing up quickly with little fuss.

No sure why some guys say they can't go if someone is next to them. If I gotta go, I gotta go. So maybe some of these guys don't really know if they have to go in the first place?

theres nothing wrong with that at all! its just what your comfortable with, and everyone should be cool with that. im the same way, and nobody cares really. :cool:

sounds like you are "pee-shy", happens man, if you have a good friend, pee together out in the woods...have a little fun with it, see who can pee farthest, draw circles, whatever...you will feel more comfortable about doing it at the urinals...there will be a day you need to do it there...

I perfer to use the urinal, it's quick, helps sometimes when you REALLY have to go.. doesn't matter to me, but PLEASE lift the seat (just talking in general), nothing worse than having to go poop and there is pee on the seat

Some people do use em, some don't. Well, most seem to use them. But don't care what anyone else thinks!
I personally always use the urinals, but thats just my choice.

I use the urinal most of the time. There is no reason not to. No one will stare at your penis generally. I will only use the stall when there is no space available and I don't go between people to piss.

It's completely normal. You just have a "shy bladder." You are in the bathroom for 1 reason only, and that is to take care of your business. Don't worry if people think you are weird or anything of the sort. Just do what you gotta do and you'll be good.

I remember when I was in middle school I was the same way. I used to have a really shy bladder and I could barely even take a piss in the stall if someone else was even in the bathroom. I grew out of that within a few years and I now use the urinals. But it's completely normal. The way I grew out of it was just leaving the stall door open as I was taking a piss. That sort of helped me become more comfortable and after I while I was comfortable enough to use urinals. And I wasn't bladder shy anymore.

I only use the urinals when i know the washroom is completely empty :p i cant really pee beside someone else it feels weird lol

what do you guys mean you cant pee if someone is next to you? if ur at school, stalls are being used and theres one guy at the uringals, do you just leave and go after the next class cuz i couldnt hold it another hour.

I know what you mean! I pee in urinals, but I dont pee in urinals without those divider things, and whenever I'm in the urinal, I feel like I'm not peeing right (if that makes sense), so I don't want to be embarrassed if people see me peeing wrong.

I pefer using stalls - less chance of gettign a nervous bladder, freezing up or just the general awkwardness of having to pee next to someone

No there is nothing wrong with that! I always go in the stall because it is more comfortable for me! And when i do go to the urinal I get boners for some reason so that is why I go in private because I don't get a boner and I just like it better! Also I pee right away if im in the stall and when Im at the urinal it takes a while for it to come out! ya know hahah

I do the same thing. I'm always worried about people that are different from me peeing DIRECTLY next to me. It's just weird. I was washing my hands a couple of days ago and a kid was using the urinal next to the sink and started moaning when he started to pee...hahah

some of our bathrooms have two urinals and two stalls if ya gotta go between classes, you wouldn't have a choice of a stall all the time. then what do you guys that don't use urinals do? Hold it for another hour?

Not weird at all....its your own preference...urinals were meant for males because we can use them quickly, do our business, then leave....I use whatever is available ...there is urinal etiquette you know :P ... i won't go to one next to a guy if there is a choice to move further away, keeping one between us at least, but sometimes that's not a choice

I know how you feel. WHat I do is look at the wall strait in front of my eyes. That helps. Of course, using the stall is a solution too.

Being pee shy or bashful bladder is no fun. I had a friend in my high school class. I asked him one day why he never needs to pee during school. He told me that he can't go when anyone is around.
so he had to hold a full bladder from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m when school goes out. Sometimes when he gets home and rushes to the toilet, it takes him a long time to start his piss from a bursting bladder.
