So, after working with kids through church this year and being employed as a camp counselor over the summer, I'm thinking that I might as well work with kids when I get older.
I know there's the basic "teacher", but I don't exactly want to be a teacher. Doesn't sound too appealing to me, to be honest.
There's a pediatric nurse, but I don't know if I could exactly handle being around sick/dying kids. It sounds mean, but I have a hard time dealing with hurt and sadness and all.
Then there's the child psychiatrist/psychologist. I dunno what that would be like, though.
Oh yeah, then there's always a children's pastor. Or Sunday School teacher. Idunno if I'm good enough with my religion to be able to do that kinda stuff yet.
But basically, what I want to know is: Other than what I said above, what's out there that involves working with children?
Thanks in advance. :P
