Like i cannot cope with it any more, I been to the doctor about it 3 times now and just now today and he won't give me pills and my family won't let me take pills and no one will help me with it and i been searching the internet but i am not coming up with very good ideas there so have you guys got any good ideas how to cope with it!?
Last night i was so tired i literally could not keep my eyes open yet for the life of me i could not sleep and ended up getting an hour sleep and a usual nights sleep for me is anywhere between 1-5 hours depending when i have to get up and when i sleep and it is just killing me, Adding this with the non eating, Living is actually a difficult task ha ha writing this i am half asleep but yeah, Can't sleep so i really need ideas on how to do it :/
I've tried light on, Light off, No laptop, Laptop, Calming music, Laying different ways, Having different things cover me, Wearing different things, Lay different ways, Change my bed matress, My pillow changes, Having the window open and having it closed, Just nothing is working.
Oh and if this is important, This has been going on for 3 years or so now.

Maybe you can go to a sleep clinic. Sometimes they can reset your body clock and it can help.

You're not eating much either? If it's because you don't have much of an appetite, you might have some form of anxiety or depression. I would visit a psychiatrist to check if you do. In that case both your insomnia and low appetite could be controlled quite easily with some medication.

I would suggest the same thing for you, Donnie. Except you seem to have some kind of schizophrenia or some shit.

I'm an insomniac and I'm lucky if I get 1-5 hours sleep also.. but this is common with the mental disorders I have.

I was prescribed Melatonin, which isn't a drug as such, just a chemical already in your brain/body, put having a tablet every night just enhances it. They usually prescribe anything from 1 to 9 mg, dependent on severity. It's not really a drug and there are no common side effects, it didn't help me but it has helped others I know.. good luck.. I know how bad it can be, here if u need 2 talk

I know you said your parents wont let you take pills, but will they let you take herbal mediation? One of the side effects of the medicine I am on is insomnia but a certain combination of herbal rememdies will help.

Valerian is probably the best one. You can get it in liquid form but it tastes nasty so I would suggest getting the tablet version.
You can also combine Valerian with other things such as Hops, Passiflora and Vervain for the best result.

If you can get your hands on them, 'Kalms' sleep pills contain all these things and are very cheap. They are deffinitely classed as a herbal remedy though so your parents might be more willing to let you try them.

Another thing you can try (although they can be expensive - try eBay) are lights that slowly decrease in intensity. I'm not describing it well but the brand I have is 'Lumie wake up lights'. I was given one for my birthday and you press a button and over about 20-30 minutes it gradually gets darker, making you more sleepy. It wont keep you asleep like the herbal rememdies will but it can help get you to sleep in the first place.
