View Full Version : Puking?

Okay so I've been doing this workout routine for about 6 weeks now.. It's a video so there's no making it harder or not harder. And today for some reason, I puked during it? It's never happened before, and I find it slightly odd that 6 weeks into a workout I'm puking? I'd kinda expect this more during day/week 1? I generally workout around this time always, btw. Though it was a little later today than usual.
So I guess my questions are:
1. Is it normal to puke during a workout, especially this long into doing it?
2. Is it bad that I continued working out after? Should I stop?
I can provide any other info if needed. :)

Well, I doubt that it's actually the workout that's causing you to puke, but the fact that you think it might be shows that you're probably overexercising. Not like you need to be told that, of course.
It's pretty unlikely that, six weeks in, you'd be puking for the first time as a direct result of the exercise (your body adapts within three to four weeks, usually). Have there been any significant changes in your diet recently? Exposure to tummy bugs? I dunno. But that's my two cents.

Welllll. It's possibly overexercising, but that kinda depends on what 'overexercising' is..
Yeah, that's what I kinda thought was weird. No changes in diet. I mean I eat less than the average person and workout more than the average person but I'm not eating any less than I have since week one.

You and I both know that you can't go all technical on this one. It's about you personally. And knowing you, you do unfortunately overexercise.
Sorry for not answering your other question. It is bad that you kept going after. Puking is a sign that any further exercise won't even do anything for you.
As for the changes in diet, I meant more like one-off things. Maybe a binge, or you had a certain food that you haven't had in a while (like choosing an apple instead of an orange yesterday even though it has more calories.)
