You could try talking to a counselor of some sort, a parent, other family member, even a friend. I know it's hard, there's a lot of people who have dealt with self harm here on VT, but we're here to help too. We can't help as much as a person there in real life, and I would recommend telling someone you trust to help you through it too, regardless of who that may be. If they really love you and care about you they won't judge you and will try and help you through it.
EDIT: If a school counselor has judged you for it and refused you help, that's not right. It's a part of their job to help you, they're trained to help with this kind of stuff, and if they are just tossing you off and calling you "insane"--which you're by no means insane simply because you self harm--then they are not doing the job they are supposed to do..

If your family doesn't care, then fuck them. There are people who do, you just said your ex girlfriend helps you a lot. Focus on the ones who DO care, not the ones who don't. The ones who do care are the ones who are willing to help you through this, as hard as it may be.
