I've noticed that I eat really unhealthily. It doesn't make a physical appearance, but it really bogs me down in physical activities, and just the feeling of eating badly.

What foods do you reccomend, and what strategies to eating less junk food do you use?

Just the normals, more vegetables, more fruit, more fish, less sugar. Nuts are a healthy snack because it doesn't take too many to fill you up.
Figuring out what is healthy and what isn't is easy, but the challenge comes when you have to find a recipe to suit your tastes. Just slowly learn to substitute junk food for nuts or fast food for homemade and it'll get easier.

Here comes the Science bit, haha, Eat more Vitamins and minerals, eg: Fruit, veg etc, for general healthy bodily upkeep, each vitamin ( A,B1,B2,B3,B5,B6,B7,B9,B12,C,D,E And k ) serves a different purpose on how they affect the body.. Also, eat Fibre to boost digestion, to just make you feel better in general.. Eat Carbs, and Protein but try to exercise as much as Physically allowable, ( doesn't have to be running or etc just any form of exercise.. ) and then you will burn the energy off and the protein will be converted to muscle generally just making you feel better.. That should do it, haha. Also, just state the obvious, eat less Fats, don't cut them out completely as our body needs them as reserve energy but try to cut down, if as you say, it bogs you down in physical activity.

Cheers, Jamie.. Hope I was of help..

Try some fruit and salad, with some lean meat here and there.

Dried fruit, especially cranberries, will become your saving grace. You can still eat chocolate, but make it dark chocolate. If you feel "hungry," drink something. If it doesn't go away after drinking something then eat a piece of fruit or vegetable (idc, grab a carrot stick or something.)
It might help to develop a ritual around eating, such as doing ten squats/pushups/whatever before each meal, to help make eating a more conscious choice than it otherwise would be.
