So me and my girlfriend have been dating for four months now and we mean a lot to each other, recently she broke up with me because she needed to escape her life but got back together a little later that week, but I talked to this one girl and I drove her home after school and had fun just hanging out. I think I have a crush on her, but I feel I shouldn't feel this way about another girl. does this happen to anyone else and what did you do?

Well this has happened to me before, I had a girlfriend and we broke up and then I got a crush on another girl who ended up just turning me down anyway. I don't think you should worry about it. She broke up with you because she "needed to escape her life" what does that mean? Does she not think your any fun anymore? I say give this new girl a try. You two seemed to have fun which is good for a relationship.

Her parents spilt up and her life has been pretty crappy ever since and she had to get away from everything... And I was part of that everything

Oh wow. I didn't realize it was like that. I thought she just got bored or something. Well now I know that, that completely changes my mind. You should stick with her and help her through the rough times. If you can stay together during a rough and hard time in her life, then I think you should stay with her...
