nah, puberty is a chemical thing. Unless you get a serious illness or suffer malnutrition, you'll be fine.

Well it is true that you grow when you are sleeping. But i dont think it affects it that much aslong as you get SOME sleep.

Are you sure it not genes that affects your brothers height? But so lack of sleep wont prolong growth? And yes i do get enough sleep 9-10 hours.

not true. the only link between puberty and sleep is that you will probably want more sleep. it won't effect puberty for you.

You should get sleep whether or not the amount of sleep affects puberty. I don't really know and I don't agree with anybody here but I can tell you that you should get your damn sleep because it makes you look better without those god-awful bags under your eyes and your skin looks better. and looks really matter when you're a teen

But it will defiantly affect mental development! :P

Well no offense in any way it's just that I've lost some friends because they stay up all night and then are rude because they're sleep deprived so I'm very assertive on this topic. It is nothing personal to you.

Yes it is true becuase your body grows and devlops while you sleep and that cant happen when you dont. And also youll be tired out so you body cant work as efficently.

Yes. Changing schedules (especially schedules that include how your body functions) can be difficult to do, can be stressful but if it's a change for the better, it can be a very good change :D

Just do a lot of stuff throughout the day - that's how I get to sleep when I want. I run cross country, work out in a weight room, walk to school and back in 110 F, do a crapload for my teachers and sometimes stay at school until 4:30 just helping them. I'm in several clubs too. I'm very active in my school and I'm over all busy so I'm completely pooped at the end of the day and get to sleep early because of that. Maybe you can try that to make it a lot easier :D
